How do siege towers work.

Alright, so basically I was commanding Norland’s Trebs, this is not a salt post this is really a how does it work, because it was really confusing. You see as I was commanding the Trebs I managed to hit a few, at least in my view it hit, maybe it didnt, but it was most likely a hole infront or next. But anyways when the siege towers got close I hit one directly breaking the top of it. Turns out after it was hit, the thing could still be moved and it was moved directly into the wall. And the Siege tower on the south, know one was in that tower to move it, in my understanding, and I still have no idea how the towers move. Also how can they build the towers that high, they seemed a little over powered.

Yea you hit the top why would that matter. Also 3 towers were destroyed we used the one that was not hit at all to get in.. Trebs hit is automatic so if you hit a tower you would see blocks get knocked off.

The Treb was hit twice and then the south tower had no one in there to move it everyone was down east far away from that one.

It was borderline impossible to know who was where. Between the kicking and lag, folks you see in one location have long since moved to another. I’d just shoot the mid-section of the towers in the future to render them useless.

If we are using any logic on mineman server, you’d think that because of how tall those towers were they’d fall over if a paper plane hit them.

These towers were built 40 blocks tall (40m) and are realistic, even dated from the Ancient Greece period so hardly modern tech.

If that was actually reflected in the actual build. No different than Timmy building a dirt pile and saying it depicts a Treb from 1488 A.D

Hypocritical that a Dwarf player is crying over realism for siege equipment
