Gruesome Greetings Arcas

 

Your fiendish friends at the devilish Druidic Order wish to invite you to join us in celebrating the turning of the leaves with our frightfully fun festivities. 

 

This whole Elven Month, Arcas will become our paranormal playground as we bring the spooktacular season to unlife for boos and ghouls of all ages across the continent. Prepare to get stuck into ghastly games and creepy competitions

Trick or Treat

 

Stock up on sweets and good eats, because every Elven Week we’ll visit a nation or major town to drag you kicking and screaming into the freaky festivities. That’s right, we’ll be shambling our way to a haunt near you to spread the spirit of the season. Hide all you might, but your walls and gates won’t keep us at bay.

 

Only ghostly getups, devious decorations, jack o’lanterns and treats will placate our tricks!

 

 

(( OOC: Every irl weekend of October, we’ll be trick or treating at a different city or settlement in full costume. Cities which make the effort to decorate for Halloween may be visited again, or receive a prize. You can even trick or treat at the Grove, just let us know you’re coming! ))

 

 

And if you dare to follow the howls and shrieks back to our gorey Groveyard, we’re playing ghost to eerie events you’ll want to sink your teeth into! Our occult offerings include three small-scaled opportunities for you to fall under the season’s spell.

 

Terror Tales

 

Shadows grow long as dusk creeps in, and night soon ensnares the evenings in darkness. Come join us in the Talus Grove and hear stories to chill you to the bone, leaving you shivering with fright. Don’t get cold feet though. Curl up by the fire, enjoy a hot drink and get cosy as terrific tales are brought to life before your eyes, helping to ease you into the season.

 

 

(( OOC: Story time in the Talus Grove 9th October @ 6pm EST. You have ten minutes to tell your spooky story, props and music are encouraged to help build atmosphere. The best story wins a prize. ))

 

Batty Brewing

 

Light the cauldrons, don your pointed hat and prepare for toil and trouble. Compete against other wily witches and try your hand at progressively more punishing potions, but be careful-

one wrong ingredient and you might turn your elixir of life into a draught of death!

 

Will you prove yourself a master of mixtures? 

Or will your dabble in drams be a disaster?

 

 

(( OOC: Brewing competition in the Talus Grove, 15th October @ 5pm EST. Follow increasingly complicated recipes and roll for each stage. Good emotes earn bonus points. At the end of each round the lowest score is knocked out, until the final two must go head to head. The best brewer wins, with runner up prizes also on offer! ))

 

Murder Mystery Mayhem

 

A murder’s been committed and it’s up to you to use your powers of deduction and intuition to lift the veil, bringing the killer to justice! Put on your deerstalker(Sorry Dwyn), grab your magnifying glass and get searching for clues. Mental magic is cheating~

 

Will you discover the killer?

Or will they slip through your fingers and claim another victim?

Nothing gets the blood pumping like murder.

 

 

(( OOC: A Who Dunnit hosted in the Talus Grove, 31st October @ 6pm EST. You may work as a team, or as a lone detective. Prizes awarded for successful deduction. You have one hour, before the murderer escapes your grasp. ))

 

 

Fall Festival

 

These ghoulish goings on, spooky soirees and preternatural parties will all come to a blood-curdling climax at the end of the Elven Month, where we’ll host a frightening Hallow’s Eve’ festival to celebrate the season of scares. And you’re all invited.

 

 

 

 

(( OOC: Talus Grove 2nd November @ 2pm EST. Costume contests, Halloween brawl, stalls, games and activities galore! Full information will be posted at a later date. ))
