A halfling man would catch wind of the posters, the wee man only capable of shaking their head as they read through one of them. "Didn' we tell these lot tha' fightin' em near their rift will only make em stronger?!" "Can't trust all bigg'uns ter 'ave a sound noggin ah guess."

Ensign Elizabeth Anne paced the length of her palace bedroom – ever one to theorise and ponder the unknown. She bit on the end of her pencil, notebook clasped tightly within her arms.

“They grow stronger. The threat is no longer a far off possibility. It is here, and it is now; steps must be taken to preserve our vision, and our way of life. No daemon or force alike shall break us, for our resolve bows to one figure, and one figure only - The Empire.”

The woman stepped out onto her balcony, eyes scanning the dimming skyline of Helena.

“Guide us, God, for the Hells rain down upon us now.”

Sergeant Willem Galbraith Would gallop over to the poster  on his routine patrol of the outskirts of the imperial border offering it a firm nod as he extinguished his cigar “God save the General , the ISA and God save the Emperor” He exclaimed as he firmly grasped the reigns of his thoroughbred  continuing his patrol

As some sneaky woodland creature snatches a poster from Helena, it finds its way back to the Talus Grove and there the Autumn Druid. Her rust-hued brow adopts a wrinkle as she reads and soon she releases a sigh through her nose.

“They refuse to join Firewatch, but pay lip-service to offering assistance. The next Orenian party to blunder into Korvassa will be halted by the alliance, their refusal to listen endangers us all.”

The High Keeper sighed loudly as she set the missive aside. “They’ve been told and shown this doesn’t work. How long will they continue with their fool’s errands before realizing their folly, I wonder? How far will their blind arrogance take them before it’s all said and done? The destruction of everything they know, at the hands of the enemy they keep strengthening; Will that be what it takes? Perhaps so. Perhaps the southerners might just be beyond saving.” Her thoughts concluded, the priestess picked up the missive once more and lit the corner of it with her flamebrand, the gentle light of the flames dancing upon the surface of her mask as she watched the paper turn to ash.

Adelith shakes her head at the posters, sighing. Later in the day, while training with a glaive, she thinks back on the posters. Her thoughts drift back to the siege Oren attempted on the Inferi camp, to when she tried to warn them not to. To the looks of horror and shock, the complete loss of faith DeNurem had suffered when forced to come face to face with the demons. To the wounds from malflame and acid that they had not been prepared for. To the Orenians she had watched be cut in half like a stick of butter by demons. Bitterly, she grits her teeth, locking her jaw.

She mutters after her sparring had ended for the day, rubbing her forehead at the sheer foolhardiness of the Empire.

This isn’t a war you can win by suiciding your men, Orenians.”

“Standing by and allowing the demon forces to continue amassing, building siege equipment and improving their fort achieves what? It only assures our defeat, either way they get stronger. It should be noted in history as to why these demons destroy our homes, you stand idly by whilst they amassed their forces, you will be to blame.” said Boniface.

“This not only threatens Oren but the very realm as we know it. To sit back and watch when you could be doing something to help is just playing the fool and coward role.” Joshua Sirsk let out a huff as he looked over the propaganda.

“Ptooh!” A concerned bystander spat aside, upon noticing the poster “These crooks are nothing but snacks for the inferi, only a fool would apply to be puppeteered by the orenian incompetence!”
