~Don’t mind the arrow stuck into the table, it’s just there for decoration!~

The seventh annual Gaming Night in Brandybrook led to a grand pie-eating competition, where all who had attended the Gaming Night gathered ‘round the feasting table and gave it their best shot! I, Filibert Applefoot, was the first to finish my pumpkin pie! I was closely followed by Polo Gardner, who downed his pie right after I finished mine! May Brandybrook see more lovely little things such as this!

 

~Fort Knox Improved Further!~

~Even the Ballista has been improved!~

While Fort Knox was not exactly terrible before these new improvements, it’s hard to find a soul in Brandybrook who doesn’t prefer the new look of the place! While it does look more than a fair bit messy, I’m sure that it’ll be much easier to defend from the Demonic threat that comes closer every day! Hopefully our elven friends in Aegrothond and Siramenor will appreciate our efforts!

 

~Rolando Applefoot is Dead!~

His axe-shovel was found stuck in the ground, with a li’l note attached to it announcing his death:

'Rolando Applefoot has been slain- and so does the soul of the once powerful Rollingo. May the Shire remember what they once were.'

I did not see to much of Rolando, but I’m sure there are others who will miss seeing this fella around! It seems that the once proud Applefoot family has lost yet another member...

~The Sleeping Competition!~

The Pajama Party has been an incredible success! Many halflings showed up in their pajamas to take part in the festivities! Pillows were thrown around, a pillow fort was constructed, and at the end we all tried to fall asleep the fastest in the tavern! O’ course, it’s impossible to tell who won, but I’m sure that you’d get a few claims to victory if you asked around!

~Polo Gardner is Missing!~

I was specifically requested by Taurin Gardner to sound the alarm in my Beetroot Newspaper! It seems that Polo Gardner has left Brandybrook in a boat, and is now somewhere in southern Arcas! This is a dangerous situation for Polo, seeing as he’s just a wee boy and is sailing near Demonic territory! Us Brandybrook halflings are to assemble a search & rescue party at once so that we may bring Polo back to safety!
