Halfling SoL Hour #1 - Cheesemaking

Hello there!
This is an event designed to simulate a single day of halfling life as best as possible.

Everybody starts at the beginning of the hour, having just woken up. Their characters then go about their day as they would IRP, eventually falling back to sleep at the end of the hour, which ends the event. Working, eating, talking, and other things your character typically does in a day can and should be roleplayed. There will be a single roleplay prompt happening during the hour to promote interaction, but attending it isn’t mandatory. Feel free to do as you wish.

The intention isn’t to attract a large quantity of halflings into one location at a time, but rather to create as much immersion as possible.

Lo t’ere fellas! Long time, no see! Today I’m going to do a little cheese-making lesson for all who wish to come! Just a simple soft cheese, nothing fancy! Bring a handkerchief to serve as a cheesecloth and a bucket for milking cows! 

P.S: It’ll take a while to press the cheese, so don’t stand around waiting the whole time! Find something else to do!

Only hour I’m gonna be playing tonight. I’ve restricted myself to 1 hour per day until the management at my job puts me on for less hours a week.

A Halfling adorning particularly leafy and bright green clothes stood before the notice board, his head tilted back as his lazy eyes scanned over it, squinting as he took sight of the newest post. Though, he’d quickly come to shake his head with a gentle huff of frustration escaping his lips as he read it over:

 

“Oh, damn i’! Oi love cheese from teh friendleh moo-cows ‘round Brandybrook, bu’ i’ makes moi tummeh ‘urt quite bad, per’aps anothah toime...”

((Time moved from 7-8 PM EST to 8-9 PM EST. I actually work until 7 PM EST, my bad. Looks like most European folks won’t be able to attend this event. There will still be a few people able to show up, and since this event isn’t trying to get as many people as possible, that’ll be fine.))
