Velu simply sighed, head bowed low. "You was a good man, a good friend, Peter. Have your deserved rest."  she then gripped tightly upon the old weathered Imperial State Army flag, the old icon having served almost as long as she had. Before she stepped away, another one lost to the ages.

The Solicitor-General would had just finished showing the new Headquarters of the Ministry of Justice to the Prince-Regent of Oren when the Governess of the Palace arrived to give them the bad news.

Charles would then be shocked, without really knowing what to say: "Rest in Peace." he'd mutter before signing the Lorraine for the fallen General "He was not only a General of an Army, he was also the General of the People."

George Kovachev uncorks a bottle of brandy and drinks himself into catatonia upon hearing the news. His uncle was a tired old man of eighty - but inexplicably, that made the Surveyor-General's grief no less immeasurable.

Masamune Musashi hears of the news, and looks up to the sky. He sighs quietly, letting the sun hit his face.

"Farewell, old friend. I fought by your side many a times before. You were one of the few in Oren that I respected greatly."

He would pour a cup of sake, raising it to the sky, and then downing it in one swig. He let the bitter aftertaste sink in, before pouring some of the sake into the dirt.

John D'Arkent mourns with his family, shedding a tear for his father who passed on not that long ago. He looks to the sky, and wonders if he is watching him from on high.

"You've finally gone." A figure said to themself, hearing this news. They stood in silence, staring up at a darkened starry sky. "You're gone, Captain?"

With a raspy tone, the figure'd whistle out an old tune. A long sound, following the smoke filling the air above them, as they watched the stars. A small golden Lorraine cross rested limply in their palm.

"I guess you earned a rest, after all I put you to.. Sleep well then, my Captain. Give a greeting to our comrades for me, will you? I suppose you'd go up, after all."

"Here's to your rest. I never did like the mirror floor in your old home. Too extravagant."

They'd laugh, with not a soul to hear.

Maisie d'Arkent exited the hospital room, sounds of weeping ringing within her ears. Throwing the handkerchief now filled with tears to the floor as she stormed out onto the streets. The sun's blinding light resting upon her visage. "God." she cursed to the wind. Wrapping her crimson cloak around herself and jumping upon a black steed. Riding off to share the news with her sister and husband.

The rain poured heavy as Sir Fredrick Teufel walked the streets of Providence. The hat upon his head dipped low, letting the rain drip off onto his armored shoulders and chest. His head would be slumped low as he walked, each footstep echoing down the long street of Chamberlain. Fredricks head was tilted downward, his eyes were shadowed by the front of his hat, a single tear rolling down his left cheek as he walked, finally speaking. "To many friends I have lost. . . Endellion, Anne I, Sir Henry, Jac, Sergei, and now you." A deep sigh is heard from Fred as he keeps walking. The lute slung over his back now clanging against his armor as he finally arrived at his house. He stumbled up the steps and into the corner home. Then the chords began to be strum.

A honeyblonde woman with skyblue eyes met him at the gate to the seven skies. "Well- it did take you long enough, nie?" With that, Thea smiled.

"Tell me what our children have grown up to be."
