Mika Uialben appears to be working hard on a particular design as shown on papers upon his desk. Scribbling and drawing away on the piece of paper with a large grin as he puts in his endless effort before he comments "If this lasts long enough and if i appear successful in this project, an auction shall be held. May Armakak pick its victor." he then proceeds to raise the paper against the light coming from the window, vague sketches and scribbles take place, but whatever is depicted must be a large project.

Mera Camian clicked her tongue a few times and shook her head as she read over the missive. "I vouldn't call it extortion, so much as action and conseqvence. But I suppose they've found the hill to die upon. Or, rather, mountain to die upon, I guess."

Anne Caroline let out a dramatic sigh upon reading the missive. Knowing what was to come, she grabbed her nearby sword with a scoff. As the aging princess moved down the long path towards the Imperial City, she muttered the words:

"Ah ****... here we go again."

In the meantime, Zita perked up as one of her fellow court mages placed the missive on the table before her. She bent towards it, her eyes narrowing ever so briefly. Finally, a huff escaped her. She exclaimed:

"Why must we always go to war over silly things? The dwarven claim was terribly fabricated and seems rather-... forced. But to lose good men and women, good soldiers and friends over... land? I don't know - but it seems rather silly to me."

James Fisher nods at the appropriate reply to the little men "Good. Perhaps this will serve as a reminder for everyone for proper documentation, for even I could not find any documents in regards to anything the small folk mentioned in their grudge."

Grand King Norli Starbreaker scowls on the Obsidian Throne as he reads the missive. gesturing his Lord Chancellor Azkel Frostbeard to take a read. "Den dey once again choose ta lie and slander, ta degrade and belittle da Grand Kingdom rather den seek compromise or communication. Wot arrogance and spite must plague John Charles fer him ta desperately hang onta da rightful property o' da khazadmar." He lets out a deep sigh, reclining against the sharp edges of the black glass seat. "Shame, I'd have want ta change history and have peace with Oren, but ets King es hell bent on war. Ef such es how he intends to act, well..."

Azkel Frostbeard would take the missive from Norli's hand, letting out a verbal chuckle for those around them to hear "eht is eh sad day when teh folks of Oren fail to recognoize deir own faults yeht again. Whoi anehone is surprised afteh centuries of dis behavior beats meh,  as oi had eh feelin' sometin loike dis wos comin. There we're no words to speak, merely a little dwarf no larger than a fully grown lamb tending to his llamas outside of Elysium seemingly oblivious.

The northern winds softly blew all about the landscape, soft bellows of the atmosphere among the idle grazing yowls of llamas, only did a a stray document smack against the back of the crude metal helmeted dwarflets head did the little man squint through his covering faceplate. . Nugget was illiterate, thus didn't pay the idiocy no mind and fed the mistaken strewn words to his prized llamas.

A figure draped in black holds the missive in slender, perfectly still fingers. The mask on his face tilts, the gold catching the flickering firelight.

“And thus, the sun will be swallowed up.”

Alexandria Armas sits with her mother Anastasia at the Komnenos Estate “Mama, should we be worried? I know both places have a spot in your heart seeing how you were raised in by the dwarves many years ago.”  Alexandria rubs her dear mothers hand as she reads over both letters.

Anastasia Komnenos frowned softly as her daughter reads her the letters. “Alexandria Octavia Armas, you better not be messing around with me. Xavier! Bring me my glasses at once!” Anastasia calls out to the butler. When Xavier brings her glasses to her Anastasia slowly reads over both. The sick woman frowns and looks at her daughter, then glances at portrait of her household. “Family comes first my daughter, Oren has been my home since my birth.” She looks down at her scars that were given to her in her childhood. “Go on dear. Go help your father and husband prepare for this.”

Tobias continued to stroll around the ghost town of a village that surrounded him. He'd reach out towards the ground grabbing onto a paper that was rolling along with the wind. "Hrm, it appears they are stirring within the mountains yet again. But just as Owyn had slain the barbaric raiders in his times, so shall we in the present."
