Land Development Application

 

 

Imperial citizens and entrepreneurs seeking opportunities outside of the currently available municipalities and cities may do so through the Land Development and Application Directive. A written application must be completed in order to be considered for operator or proprietorship rights over pre-determined development plots across the Empire.

 

Please refer to the Land Development and Application Directive before submitting an application to the Home Office for initial review. All applications must be approved by the Home Secretary and the Archchancellor in order to be valid. Utilize the following templates when submitting an application for a specific development type.

 

*note Do not include italicised text from the templates in your application. Post all applications in this thread. When an application has finished being reviewed, the approval authorities will publicly announce the results. Changes or denials will be discussed with the applicants privately. Accepted applications will receive an official summons for a physical petition by the applicant to finalize the transaction.

Representative Necessity: Explain the Boroughs interest in obtaining representative government within the community. Explain the benefits that a local government would have and how it would improve the lives of any permanent residents. All municipalities will require some form of local government that is in compliance with the Imperial Proprietorship System- meaning at the most basic level a full time Magistrate, elected Sheriff, and elected Clerk.

The idea behind taverns is to have communities grow around them, which is the purpose of the price point. Ideally, you can get a few investors interested in starting up a unique community and Imperial sub-culture, and willing to drive activity and events. Demonstration of Operational Competency: The way we have decided to recruit members for the tavern would be through the many contacts we have, trying to bring in people who may have interest in joining our small community. In addition, we already have a few people who are willing to actively help with the tavern. As for our supplies, we will be making everything ourselves and on our land, using various different herbs or techniques to brew alcohol, unique drinks, et cetera. Our main source of income will hopefully be the sale of drinks or other offered items in our tavern, but we are expecting to open up other interactions such as allowing for people to sell things in our market stalls and more. As His Imperial Majesty's delegation, I presume to owe you thanks, having caught wind of the investigative efforts conducted by the Empire in uncovering the Druidic murderers of my grandfather, which later sacked and destroyed our beloved port. Since then, my family have lived as refugees. Whilst the branch of my uncle, Sir Vulpe, have settled in the south, my father's line have chosen to live a simpler - risk free - life. 
 

Having ran from pagan assassins for the better part of the last decade or so, we now come to you humbly requesting your help in permanent settlement. Demonstration of Operational Competency: The way we have decided to recruit members for the tavern would be through the many contacts we have, trying to bring in people who may have interest in joining our small community. In addition, we already have a few people who are willing to actively help with the tavern. As for our supplies, we will be making everything ourselves and on our land, using various different herbs or techniques to brew alcohol, unique drinks, et cetera. Our main source of income will hopefully be the sale of drinks or other offered items in our tavern, but we are expecting to open up other interactions such as allowing for people to sell things in our market stalls and more. We also plan to host a lot of different events or attractions as to bring new people to the tavern, such as private parties/public parties, karaoke night, tea nights, etc.

Demonstration of Operational Competency: Staff shall initially be hired primarily from our family, which lives in the nearby estate of Ravenmour, however we prefer to hire outside of the family if available. We will offer rooms to ISA Soldiers, and would offer it as a patrolling way-station as they make their rounds about the Empire, to include a place to stable horses.  We also own 4 shops in Providence, we will supply the Tavern from our store reserves as well as produce created at the nearby estate. We currently have 15 personnel residing in our estate, and would expand more rooms in the Tavern. We would utilize it not only as an area to host social events, but as a way-station for Patrolling ISA Soldiers. Our drinks, foods, and items will also be unique products to the Imperial Elven culture group.
