+-To all Imperial Elves-+

Sons and Daughters of Malin, may the Blessings of GOD be upon you all and the Emperor be with you as you receive this missive. Whether at home in the Empire, or living abroad.

Whether you are Thill, Ker, Ame, and to the half-kin born of misdeeds. Do you struggle with your place in our blessed Empire? Perhaps you feel your Mali talents neglected and unused. Our long lives makes us uniquely placed to serve as loyal servants and advisors to our other Imperial citizens.

The Melphestaus Family is looking for those who wish to use your elven gifts in the pursuit of aiding the children of Horen. As we are cursed by our lack of natural birth, our family has established bloodlines which may grow by adoption, as well as natural birth. Even our half-kin, who bare no fault for the sins of their parents, may be taken in to live productive Canonist lives in service to the Emperor.

We help you to find your path, lead productive lives, to grow gracefully in time as we help the young sons and daughters of Horen flourish into a great society. By the blade, by the book, by the cross - your path is your calling to greatness.

We shall soon be meeting with the Warden of the Pale, to seek his blessing and to discuss our growing Imperial Elven community - which you may join as a full fledged family member, eligible to lead, to guide, to benefit from the family. Or as an Elven Ward, seeking not to take on the family name but wishing to work for the family and promote the cause. You may learn more of the family with the attached flyer. We will need all of your talents to invigorate our society of merit, free from the shackles of purity trials or ancient blood lines. Imperial Citizens all, in the name of our GOD and our Emperor.

GOD Save the Emperor!

Servus,

Minuvas Melphestaus

Family Scion of House Melphestaus

OOC:

Hieran reads over it in his study. He nods along as he reads it and walks to his window.

"Perhaps now is the time for elves to rise"

He said to himself, looking over the great city of providence

An old Orenian former Privy Councillor and Court Mage's long, pointed ears flicked as she read through the invite, taking a look at her once jet black locks, now a stark white, and humming in contemplation. "Perhaps a change of scenery is on order. After all, old habits die hard." She muttered to herself with a smirk.

Adreniel Elibar’acal scoffs at the mention of ‘Thill’ living outside of haelun’or , remarking. “No true Mali’thill would reside outside of el’cihi.”

A certain, blueberry tinted Mali'ker gags as he is reminded of the time he was an Orenian Elf.

"They wish to live in The Pale? A lost title that died with Arcas. Stagnation and irrelevance are all that place is known for. Whoever these Mali are, they know nothing of our kin. They speak of the Valah 'God' as if it is their own. The mutts that infest the Empire never give up, it seems."

He then continued wandering around Almaris, sighing as yet again someone would cripple the chances at Elven Unity further.

Zaniil Isilioleth would shake his head in amused disbelief, tossing the paper into a nearby puddle.

”What a horrid weakness.” He said in passing.

A pale eyed Mali'ker would hear word about The Pale and the Mali that speak of God so casually.. the young woman was sure her beloved uncle's would have an interesting take on this, though, the Velu'asath had far more important things to worry about.

"These people, those who denigrate Elven Canonists as weaklings, pretend to treat Canonist elves with contempt and yet seem much disturbed by them...does their talk of God hit closer to home than they like to admit?" Observes Bl. Pius of Sutica from the Skies.
