DarkWrath94 762 Share Posted August 11, 2022 The Grand Fishing Festival -=Contestant of the festival catching another fish=- Too long of a time has passed since the last time fish were common in the south. The sands offer little to support these creatures, yet when there is a need and a wish, a way will be found. As such, after years of waiting, it is time for fishing to return to Balian. Years have been spent cultivating and growing fish in the Royal pond so that now the citizens of the Grand Duchy of Balian and any travelers may come and join the Grand Fishing Festival! So now, we shall celebrate, fish and feast to remember this old craft. Schedule of the Festival Opening of the Festival Fishing Competition Cooking Competition Award giving and ending words of the festival Prizes of the Festival Largest Fish caught: 50 Mina and the Golden fishing pole Most Fish caught: 50 Mina and the Golden Fishing Net Best Fish cooked: 50 Mina and the Golden Spatula Spoiler Happening in the Grand Duchy of Balian, Saturday, the 13th, 3PM EST near the Palace pond
HIGH_FIRE 4122 Share Posted August 11, 2022 "FISHING!!!" Drako Darkwood would blurt out upon reading the missive "What on earth change has my brother undergone..." He chuckles lightly, surprised at his brother's new interest
JudgedKitty 199 Share Posted August 11, 2022 Agatha reads the missive before looking towards her fishing buddy Fickle. "Hey Fickle, you want to go to this with me? It will be just the two of us if you wondering" She hands over the missive, expecting full well that he is going to read it @A_Good_Fellow
A_Good_Fellow 31 Share Posted August 11, 2022 The Fellow in red would read over the missive and then speak in his usual polite candor. "May as well, Just hope your luck does enough for you to beat my skill. Save for the cooking part, odds are one of them housemages will take that first place prize." He would start to roll his shoulders as he checked two rods, considering he always carried at least one on his person.
