Ottomar squinted his eyes at the missive. "So first these anti-monarchists run to Balian and Haense for aid, nations that themselves are monarchies, and now they seem to be aided primarily by a noble family from Haense in their rebellion also. Not to mention that they think we desire for the return of the Empire, a nation we've all lost family to getting rid of  in the first place. A bit hypocritical, but who am I? A shame what happened to that dog, though, His Majesty should really look into that. That most certainly is a vile crime."

"Perhaps I'll return if Aaun attempts war against Acre."

A particular 'Thill grimaced at his words, spoken but a few days prior. Sorrowful, he would begin to pack what few things he would need for the war to come. A promise is a promise, a vow is a vow.

Even a Mali'Thill doesn't have eternity, though a thousand years may feel like it.

A final night of watching the stars from the boat's deck before rowing to shore in the morning. Once more, he was Wilfred of Acre. Once more, he would defend his former mentor's lineage.

Valentin's eyes scan the paper, darting down toward the signatures as tears began to blur his vision.

"By GOD, my name lives on."

Softly he wept, thinking of his forefathers.

Staff needs to prove that they are more serious about the outsiders cannot join inside conflict rules. Loopholes shouldnt be permitted. If they are permitted then we will have a war as toxic and bad as the Oren vs Acre one. Please stop allowing outsiders and rebellers to raid a nation in a civil war just because they didn't lable it as a "war raid".  BE FAIR!

"Mein gott. This is war. Gott save us all."

Eleanore von Wexler expressed with a frown.  Lady Wexler went into her chambers and swiftly penned a letter; composing something quickly and then going into the Velen Avery and sending off an eagle onto the north of Velen. After lifting off the eagle, the Wexler let out a prayer; signing the Lorraine afterward. The young woman let out another sigh; walking back into the keep into her chambers. Waiting.

"How will gott judge us all? Sinners or saints? May St. Horen bless us all as his children fight and kill."

To be fair, this being forced to be internal conflict makes no sense. Acre having to post a rebellion warclaim to maintain their land because of an OOC eviction makes no sense for a narrative. Balian and Haense should be allowed to participate if a warclaim is enforced, given the roleplay that has transpired leading up to this point.

The Prince Alexandros sighed slightly- glancing at the paper. "For all that is good- do not drag us into another war.."

Dzmitry Barrow laughed quietly. "God above- seems the von Draco's have sprung out of the dirt to fight!"

The eldest female de Vilain now named Heidi van Aert read the missive, a slight scowl formed on her face as she recalled how Haense stole her brothers land from her. A betrayal shrouded in secrecy…. She would to would ready her arms and gather her own men.
