The Banishment of Orion "the Lost"

A young elfess knocks a goose feather arrow onto a cherry-colored recurve bow, aiming down the grey shaft and to the missive nailed to the gnarled knot of a tree. The lass pulls the weight of the cord, drawing it the full length back all the way to her cheek.

A deep breath, halfway on the exhale she releases the tension.

Slinging the bow over her shoulder and brushing a loose strand of dark hair out of her face she makes her way over to the target, pulling the arrows from the base she successfully tears the parchment into shreds, littering the forest floor.

Reaching into her pocket she uncrumples the creases in another paper.

Knock.. Draw.. Breath.. Hate.. Focus.. Release..

The arrow soars over the thick grass and plants itself between the eyes of a crude drawing of Teft Barclay

Apollyon Adiler spits onto the ground

"Bastard.."

Petsch von Minitz was sitting down near an open window within the castle of old Rivia, smoked filled the office as the scent of Reinmaren tobacco burned from his cigarette. He stayed silent puffing away as he read the writ of banishment of his brother, having spoken with the Herzograt a few hours earlier before his Lord made the official announcement. Petsch wrinkled his brows as he looked up. He then flicked the stick of tobacco out the window before picking up a glass of Reinmaren Bourbon.

"Ich will miss you brother".

He raised his glass slightly for a moment before downing it one go.

From the simple homestead of the Herrlichkeits, Blume would notice the announcement after having seen the lashing out that had occured prior at Greg & Val's wedding; she felt the tears in her eyes well up & burn as her hands began to tremble as she had held the notice in her hands.

"Why, uncle Ori...." Blume would mutter to herself, the first tear dropped onto the paper, "..Why would you not explain things to me from outside.... I.." She hesitated for a moment as her brows furrowed; she didn't have the heart to say what had first come to mind, but muttered nonetheless, "...I l-loved you...."
