A Calamity

Ebs starts to write on a piece of parchment after hearing about King Edmund's death.

Today, I write of a great loss that plagues all Aegis today. The good king of Oren, King Edmund Sheffield, has betrayed us all, converting to the undead and eating the Queen, leaving Oren in chaos.

Promptly tries to post the note on the Laurelin message board, which finally falls over from so much paper being on it.

Edmund in my opinion wasn't the right monarch for the crown, we've all at least thought this once before, or else we are foolish.

It works well for us elves, but I don't think Men are capable of running a council. Not yet. They still need a monarchy in my opinion.

I voted for the council cause the only other leading in the poll is someone who appears to be dead. So this can either mean you vote for the council or vote for the dead. Or just rally a large group of people and vote for someone else. ._.

In my humble opinion, they should have a parliament made from those trained for leadership. In the elven council, one gains their place by dint of effort to the elven nation, and have proven themselves capable for such a task. As the humans have not nearly as much time, I say we train some families for leadership, so that there are capable leaders, but give the people a choice in their government.

I do not care if my suggestion is shouted down, or even ignored. I just hope someone has a better one.

your idea has merits,but there is one fatal flaw: we elves should not get directly involved.

if you want to subtly suggest it to some people fine,but we dont have any alliances with oren at the moment (i dont believe so) so we dont have any right to get directly involved,and if we train the government,then if it goes wrong,the world will see it as our fault.

no,we should simply suggest a system of Elected Council Members,with One High PrinceCouncilman.
