Issued by the

PRINCE OF MERRYWEATHER

On this 10th day of the Sun’s Smile of 1930

The Waldenian people have been strong and united for centuries. We have our national symbols, language, colours and food, but there has never been a song that unites all our people. With this in mind I, Prince Heinrich II Lothar von Alstreim, wrote the lyrics to a well-known folk tune, which will serve as our anthem through the ages. May it strengthen our unity in moments of victory as well as of defeat.

TEXT IN WALDENIAN:

Rufst du, mein Vaterland

Sieh uns mit Herz und Hand,

All dir geweiht

Heil dir, Waldenia!

Hast noch der Söhne ja,

Wie sie Sankt Johann sah,

Freudvoll zum Streit!

Heil dir, Waldenia!

Hast noch der Söhne ja,

Wie sie Sankt Johann sah,

Freudvoll zum Streit!

TEXT IN COMMON:

When you call, my fatherland

See us with heart and hand,

All dedicated to thee

We hail you, Waldenia!

You still have your sons,

As Saint Johann saw them,

Joyous to fight!

We hail you, Waldenia!

You still have your sons,

As Saint Johann saw them,

Joyous to fight!
