DISCOLIQUID 1963 Share Posted July 21, 2023 THE COPPER CHAMBERS The great forges of Urguan were discovered in Aevos to be of splendid copper, with the cogs of industry driving constant cannon creation. Yet, all was not as simple as it seemed. The great forge awoke one day, to spit fire & flame. A pipe burst, unmanaged for nearly a decade, and overflowing with molten ore. The source of the pressure was sought, and Dwarves delved deep into the mines of Aevos to seek where the disrupted copper systems could be repaired. Their search took them beyond gold, diamonds, into caves untouched since the days of eld Aevos. Underneath cracking wooden support, through battle with magma spitting slimes, chromatic spiders, and flaming elements, The Dwarves dug on. A Starbreaker lead their path, limned with the torch of prophecy. Nara Starbreaker discovered not only the destroyed pipe, but an ancient patinated door of historic copper. The weight of it could not be lifted by ten dwarves, though each who gazed upon it felt the weight not only in their hands, but in their minds. Beyond which, the Starbreaker saw fate foretold, chambers of copper. And so the Dwarves set upon carving a force to lift the door. A golem of great strength & laborious power, set upon uncovering the lowest depths of Aevos until the Copper Chambers were found. There, far below forge-pipes, spider-dens, below plentiful mines, did nearly 20 Dwarves await the strength of rock turned living to open doors green with age. And as the five ton door creaked open, for the first time in untold years, out poured both providence… and greed. Like vultures, the Dwarves descended upon an ancient workshop, For both Alchemy & Kingstone. One that produced long-lost Arkenlyte, and was filled with Aevos’ undiscovered material treasures. Each Dwarfs pocket left with some old trinket or another, from smoking boots, to fortifying oils. And by their spared ingenuity while they looted the place clean, copper gears were oiled. Pipes were repaired, forges lit once more, and dead Dwarves of old Aevos put to rest. A tablet inked with moon’s prophecy was discovered, But not yet truly translated. As the Dwarves took home both tale & treasure, several lingered in the Copper Chambers, passing whispers low. They spoke of pipes further on, of chambers yet undiscovered, or explored. Maps were crafted, schematics explained, and the digging continued. Now, those who dwell in Urguan who pass by the mines hear the unwavering clack! Clack! Clack! Of mining, as Nerroth the golem labors by without pause or delay. At Nara Starbreaker’s prophecy, The Copper Chambers are sought in the name of Grimdugan, And the mining shall not stop. @ImDrippedJr @AdamantFlames @Juvens @searose143 Thank you all so much for participating so far, the Copper Chambers event has been some of the most fun I've had on the server.
