Red Dead Redemption 2 Low Honor Version

To the Citizens of the United Kingdom of Aaun,

If you are reading this missive by chance, then I sadly have passed on to wherever my soul would transcend. Whether it is in the Seven Skies with my fallen loved ones, or within the Soulstream with the rest of the descendants, or oddly enough my preferred destination, the void.

I have been proudly serving Aaun now for over fifty years with joy, along with the honor of serving Four great Kings, starting from Charles to John. However, I was no different than ordinary men. Perhaps powerful and wise in my own aspects, but death is something I would never avoid especially in the life I live daily. This is the day where I truly would say that life has humbled me fully.

I believe now some, if not all of you have heard what I do in my life, perhaps the good and the bad. Some I regret, some I don’t. Though without a doubt, I have enjoyed almost every moment of it. However, I will come clean and say that whatever I have done, it would always be 100% in good intentions.

This message now goes to every Citizen in Aaun. Aaun was on the verge of extinction, however your King, John, has brought it back up with the grace and the might I once knew of. John is a man that you will never find in another 1000 years, both in characteristics, morals, and leadership. I simply request all of you to stand by his side, no matter what, as if I remained alive, I would have continued doing so, no matter how the odds differ. Of course, always chase your dreams, and listen to your gut always. I was once upon a time a weak, orphaned child who by the Grace of GOD became the man I am today. I am excited to see what each one of you has planned in their future to come true.

It was a pleasure knowing all of you. I require no pity or tears. Mayhaps prayers would be useful for me, as I never knew how to do so properly. I might need that, wherever I end up.

With as much said, let it be known that I, Emir de Rosius, having sensed that in times like turmoil my death might very well be near, do by this last will and testament bequeath all my earthly possessions to Leonard Franz de Rosius should anything happen to me, with only a few exceptions that will be made known in private letters.

Certain private letters would be sent out following the publication of this last Will and Testament:

King John:

Spoiler

My king, I have watched you grow from a spoiled brat crying about his chicken being kidnapped by the Heretics that once lived this land, to become a Man of God who soon became the chosen leader of our blessed nation.

Whatever you may have heard, it has been true news. My path has been questionable in many ways, however I always love to be honest about it. Truth be told, I do not regret doing so, my only regret is that this had not happened sooner.

I have enjoyed our private talks, sharing our stories like a Father and Son would, and I am sure that even when I am no longer around, you will always make a sensible choice. My only request is for you to officially fulfill my last wishes, at least as a payment for my selfless, undying loyalty all those years. Make sure to be a good Father Figure to Leonard, as I have taken him in, after his parents sadly passed on in a voyage overseas. I wish for him to have a good upbringing, and I do not trust anyone in both sense of responsibility and personality more than you.

P.S: Do not forget to tone down on the medicine I prescribed for you. It is not good for you in the long run <3.

Blanca Ananore:

Spoiler

My sweet daughter Blanca. You may have read that I mentioned a few regrets I have done in my life in the public missive. However, none of them would be worse than not being a good father to you when you were younger.

I took my pettiness over my nurturing. I have let you fight in this dark world alone, thinking it would shape you into the man I have become, and chose to not take you in once again in my arms. I admit, I may have been good at everything but being a good Canonist and more importantly a good father. For this reason, I decided to have you inherit my Invisible Cloak, to keep yourself safe from danger, and to keep in mind that whenever you wear it, you’ll feel safe as father is with you.

Please be a good mother to Styx and Nyx, and I am so proud of you, and you will always be my troublesome gremlin.

P.S: Expect my Metallic Falcon, which you will also inherit to send a delivery package of the toys I made for you. Keep them for yourself or donate it to Orphaned children, and STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!! <3

Boon:

Spoiler

My closest and best friend, as for you, crossing paths with you has been the greatest blessing fate has decided to give me. You were always the reason for my laughter when I felt like I had nobody left by my side. If you read this, I have officially died, and no, Boon. I will not return miraculously in any way like I did last time.

Now please, do not cry when you read this. I am still around watching over you, and I still live with you as long as Bessie still lives. She lives from the Mana I have given to her. So remember, whenever you’re around Bessie, it means I am around you. You have been one of my greatest Alchemy students, hence I will soon enough Deliver you a recipe of a favorite potion of mine.

I know for sure one day we will meet again, and we shall eat another cupcake while watching the sunset together, as we always used to do.

P.S: I have made a special lamp for you that would illuminate light and sing your favorite songs, if you ever fear sleeping in the dark. It will always remind you of how brave you are, no matter how you think youre not. Oh and, please make Leonard his favorite dishes whenever he asks for them. I always told him how great a cook you are. <3

Boreas:

Spoiler

The son I have created with my own hands. My greatest creation till this date. You, Boreas, have been the reason why I always believed myself to be a master-crafted sorcerer. You were always a gentle-giant, taking care of me and being there for me in times of need. However, I do have one final order for you: To take care of Leonard as a child as his big Uncle, he would be your new “Order-giver” once he is an adult. Father is not a term I have given, as only I get to have the honor of having you as my own son. You are now officially unbound from my orders. I love you, son.

Philip Halcourt:

Spoiler

My favorite Grandchild, Sir Philip of House Halcourt. I am glad to have the honor of having you as my own Grandson. You may have thought I saved you in many instances, but in fact, you were the one who saved me from the crippling loneliness of having no family to take care of me by my side.

I am even more than happy to have been in your wedding, as the final memory I have for you. I do not care if you're a Veletzian, Petran, or an Aaunite. I was once upon a time in the less-favored side of war in Petra, and I believe you are in the same shoes as me. I know you sharing my blood means that whatever the outcome is, you’ll get up stronger, just like your old man used to do.

P.S: If Veletz loses this war, I have made sure to give you a big percentage of the land your younger cousin would claim once he is of age. You and Adelheid deserve to live in a wonderful home, as you have made my last years living a wonderful life. Be a good father and a good husband, as I do not want you to do the mistakes I have done. -Gramps <3

Juniper Rose:

Spoiler

My stinky sister from another mother. I may have been a pain in the arse for you for so many years, and I may have done horrible things. But I am more than happy to be the reason why your deafness has come to an end. Please, do not EVEN attempt to EVEN THINK about suicide just because I died. I wish for you and Leonard one day to cross paths, and perhaps become his mentor. You were always my favorite sibling, and I will always love you and watch over you.

Robert Haverlock:

Spoiler

Robbie, I know this missive may have been a shock to you, but this had to be done. Maybe this will be enough for people to leave you alone and stop harassing you. As much as sometimes you would raise my blood pressure to peak levels, you were always a wonderful, smart kid. Your job now is to take care of yourself and to become a promising Baron for your family, and please, do not hate Olenna, as she is doing that for nothing but your safety. I love you, Rob.

P.S: Do not give pies to undead or befriend Demons. They are evil, no matter how you convince yourself they’re not. Expect a Mechanic Dog I crafted for you this Tuvmas, as I still had to stick to the deal of not being around you, even if Olenna was not the one who stuck to her deal. I NEVER break my promises.

Peter Stroheim:

Spoiler

Peter, despite how much I always thought you were an idiot, you were always a smart, cunning man and undoubtedly have been one of my close friends. I still remember your shitty sandwiches and how awful they tasted. Please don’t cook again as I think that's what made me die anyway. We may not meet again, but if we do, it has been a pleasure, Templar.

P.S: I love your sandwiches, don't be so butthurt, and please, STOP TELLING EVERYONE THAT I LOVE ELVES FOR HELL'S SAKE. Oh and, expect the full recipe of Adunic Alchemy soon. It's embarrassing how you’re married to one yet you don’t know jackshit of it. It's also my people’s alchemy, so please do not embarrass me. Love you, soldier.

Spoiler

OOC NOTE: These letters were for people I roleplayed with on Emir almost all the time. If you wish for your own letter, DM Me. To those who got those letters, there would most likely be a secret page behind it, so DM me if you have it or not.

Another OOC Note: This is not a PK post in any way. My Persona is still alive, despite nobody knowing except a few. This is simply a 'presumed-death' incident after barely surviving a deadly encounter. Hopefully we will cross paths again, if destined :) Thanks to @Melethurius for such a wonderful RP in the morning.

For several days, Juniper locks herself in her room, refusing any and all food and company as she could only cry for her fallen brother.

She thinks about the thing Emir explicitly told her to think about.

On the other hand, a traveling Colette breaks into utter places in foreign lands. “Papa..” She uttered aloud through her tears. “Forgive me for not being there in your last moments….”

The Atronach carefully reads over the letter. It was a silent period as he folded up the parchment and set it in his satchel.

"Thank you, Father..." He raises his head to the sky, before dipping it gracefully and continuing foward to fulfill the final order Emir had lent to him...

"A shame," Raziel murmured then. "But they all die, sooner of later. So you, was he not only 80 or 90? He was a good one, I like him. He shall be missed." He sighed before leaving once more. Other things required his attention.  A small memorial would be erected in his honor.

"No mercy for persistent heretics,"

Spoke John, King of Aaun, after things had concluded.

"He should have given up on his Azdrazi heresy when urged to do so. In failing to do so he left me no choice."

He reasoned, cleaning his bloodied blade with a cloth. He did not bother to read any of what had been addressed to him, at least for now.

"..If only he had just turned away from it, he would not have had to die."

"This isn't fair - I hope Emir is somewhere happier."

Robert frowned, holding the plushie Emir had given him years prior.

Sir Philip read the letter atop his horse as he looked out over the roads ahead of him. He lifted his helmet from atop his head setting it down in his lap as his eyes tore across the page. "Grandfather no..." Was all he could muster out. His eyes looking up towards the sky.

Blanca heard the news at the king of Balian's funeral. Sitting next to her spouse she went quiet, nothing could ever have hurt as much as losing her father after they had only just become close again. Blanca's family was well and truly gone. Her mother had passed in her teenage years, Laetitia, and so many of her siblings, now her father. She wondered if she'd be wearing black for the rest of her life as she tried to hold back the tears.

A while later, another woman heard the news and reacted with a simple frown and nothing more. "It is a shame you are gone, dear cousin.... not much else to be said about it." And thus, Eryane returned to her daily life with her youngest child Matianna, and her husband Jack.

Blanca's spouse sat next to their spouse, extending an arm to give Blanca a hug. There was little Io knew to say, but would be there now and for many years to remind Blanca she's not alone, and the family she made will be here for her.

A most unfortunate passing for a most curious sorcerer. Bemused Razad.
