Shugo Kato is happy that the words of the Yasu Tori rang true in the chests of the heartlanders and that peace was on the horizon.

"Finally, no more closed gates. . ."

"Well... at the very least this sort of thing does sound good." *Humed seeing the promises of the post* "As long as they keep the bandits in check also would work but dunno."

Wilford wonders vaguely for a moment if he can get his prosthetic leg back now that Veletz is now Adria. And then he shrugs, figuring most likely not.

"Markus, who for so long turned a blind eye to the misdeeds of the Ferrymen, the Veletzians, now he thinks he can save them with this?!" he'd spit at the ground, "We'd be more foolish to take him for his word, for how many times did he say there are no ferrymen. How many lives were lost in his willful ignorance." said the Father Belisarios, grasping the cross upon his neck, gritting his teeth.

The Grand Prince of Kusoraev stood over a map of the shattered Midlands, flanked by bogatyr and other men in the employ of his father. A squire unfurled this decree before them, and spoke the words aloud. Ivan spat onto the ground. "Where was this man's piety when his liege-lord reaved his way across Canondom? Where was this man's piety when the Ferrymen assailed the host of the Pontiff? Only in defeat does he turn to Godan. Repulsive."

"Upon the walls of Breakwater to Drusco, Adria stood. They cannot hide behind the ruins now."

At that moment, the Holy Light never felt clearer to Villorik.

Grisha sat astride his horse, a great charger that he had been given hours before by his allies. The Acaelanite grasped the reins and then directed his horse onward. He had entered the lands of the Valahan years before to take a contract from Sir Gaspard to hunt down Deadmund. With Sir Gaspard gone, his hallowed oath was no longer obligatory, and he had no further desire to ride alongside the man's successor. The elf considered his discussion with Vyllaenen. Understandably, there was no reason for further innocents to die when The League's armies were outnumbered 2-1. Nonetheless, the Acaelanite issued a prayer to God, the Almighty, the sanctimonious Creator who had spurned his present ambitions.

"Veletz," he rang out quietly, his voice drowned out by the sound of the horse's hooves clattering against the ground. The horseshoes rang out with a clamor as metal clashed with gravel. "Veletz, Adria, Valahan. I fight for money next time. Let the Men kill one another. Humans." He spat like an epithet. "Humans weep, humans cry, humans surrender."

"Didn't they try to do the same last time? Hide behind the peace between the Canonist Princes?"

The spirit of Heinrich II Lothar pondered in the Seven Skies as he remembered the previous war with Adria very well
