The Treaty of the Northern Defense

ARTICLE I: ON SOVEREIGNTY

 

The Principality of Celianor and the Kingdom of Vikela, also referred to as “the signatories” hereby pledge to mutually recognize each other's respective statuses as Sovereign Independent Realms. Both signatories recognize each other's right to fully rule and govern their territories as they see fit and shall not interfere with each other's internal affairs.

 

ARTICLE II: ON NON-AGGRESSION

The signatories hereby do mutually agree to refrain from direct conflict between each other. The avoidance of indirect conflict is also heavily encouraged. When visiting either signatories’ territories, citizens are expected to abide by the laws and customs

Should an issue or conflict arise which breaches this article, the signatories agree to handle the matter via appropriate diplomatic means.

 

 II.I - In the spirit of cooperation, Vikela and Celianor express their commitment to lend assistance to the Northern Raiders in times of distress, fostering a bond of mutual support and collaboration.

ARTICLE III: ON DIPLOMATS

In an effort to ensure diplomatic relations continue and to enhance diplomatic communication in the future. Diplomats safety shall be guaranteed in the other signatories territories and they shall not face any persecution while there. Should a diplomat cause an issue or violate the law in the other signatories territory then they are to be immediately extradited to their home territory to face judgement from the head of state or whatever internal structure is in place for such an affair. During this time, both signatories should work together to solve the issue diplomatically.

 

ARTICLE IV: DURATION 

The signatories both mutually agree that this pact is to be in effect for a twenty-year span. If either nation's non-aggression pact is violated and cannot be resolved diplomatically, the pact will be immediately called for a bilateral or letter between the current Sovereigns, to be met before further action is taken.
