[Black Alchemy Addition] Deadman's Solution

Recommended Posts

Deadman's Solution:

As time passed, an Orc named Swamp Drinker thought of a solution to one's weakness. In the lab, mixing multiple reagents, mixing with liquid life force, and so on. Then he found the right combination to create the potion, combining the right reagents and all the substances. He has made the solution to one’s weakness. The liquid inside the potion would be of grey colors.

Spoiler

Recipe:

Strengthen arms:

Liquid Life force x1

Strength x3

Vigor x2

Dark x2

Endurance x1

Strengthen legs:

Liquid Life force x1

Agility x4

Strength x3

Vigor x2

Endurance x2

Dark x2

Swiftness x1

Creation:

First, one must take the Strength symbol and soak it in water. After, one should cut the herb into small pieces and mix it. Letting it rest, one must take the Vigour herb along with the Darkness herb and cut them into small pieces, mixing it with Liquid Life force. After letting the Strength symbol rest, one should cut the endurance herb and add it to the bowl with the soaked Strength symbol. After that, the mix with Strength and Endurance symbols must be distilled, and then the distilled rest must be added to the rest, mixing it all and finishing the potion. For leg effect, one must add Swiftness along with the Strength and Endurance mix and Agility along with the Liquid Life force mix.

These are the effects if one drinks the arm’s or leg’s variant of the potion:

Arms effects:

If one drinks the potion and chooses to empower arms, one will achieve the strength of an orc for 4 [OOC] emotes. The strength of an orc is increased to Olog strength if one already possesses Orc strength, but the duration of the effect will be halved.

Leg effects:

Upon drinking the potion and choosing to empower legs, one would get an overall speed increase and base movement will be improved by moving +2 blocks per emote for 4[OOC] emotes.

Effects after drinking:

After the effects' duration, the potion consumer will be exhausted, being unable to fight, as they would feel too exhausted to do so. Movement will revert to normal before the potion is drunk. This exhaustion will last 4 [OOC] emotes.

  • REDLINES:

T3 Potion

This potion requires an ST signature.

This potion is considered to be "Rare," meaning one must learn from a person who knows the potion’s recipe or find proper recipes to learn.

Only arms or legs can be chosen to empower, can't be both at the same time.

If one tries to empower both legs and arms at the same time by consuming two potions, their strength would be drained, and they would experience multiple muscle tissue injuries upon waking up, such as spasms, strains, or sprains.

The Olog strength won't apply to an orc if it is already missing its original strength. Instead, they will get their descendant strength back for [4 OOC] emotes.

The potion may only be used once per [1 OOC] day.

Such potion may only be made once per [3 OOC] days to avoid mass production.

If used multiple times, the effects would be the same as if trying to apply the potion to legs and arms.

The weakness will make one unable to fight, as they would feel too exhausted to do so.

The weakness does not affect the consumer's movement.

The weakness will apply to all who can consume the potion.

The potion will apply to all except any Construct or Olog CA.

With the addition of moving faster, the default movement will be 6 blocks, and sprinting will be 10.

If one cannot move their legs, or cannot move overall, the leg enhancer wont help the consumer to get out.

Bit too powerful imo
Also you mention that when it wears off you experience weakness, but I can't seem to find how long this potion is supposed to last.

How exactly does this fit into black alchemy besides using liquid lifeforce as a reagent?

Thanks for noticing the issue. This is fixed and added in the lore.

I think it's fine, but maybe you could make it so the potion causes someone to have backlash from such strength, otherwise it's fine.

+1

Backlash to such strength is stated under the leg effects.

These Mechanics/Redlines contradict each other - If someone's base movement speed is lowered, the redline states their base movement will increase to 6 with a action and 10 with sprinting - which is more then a +2, depending on the slow -, while the mechanics state it's only a +2. It should be that consuming the potion provides a flat +2 to movement, as the mechanics says it does.

The redline states the base movement speed increase which doesn't include the slow. The leg effects provide a flat +2 bonus as you say.
