Turbo_Dog 3581 Share Posted July 16, 2024 Daal, the first demon bound by the arch-lich wandered aimlessly through the lands. Running from each threat he faced knowing he had no way back if he fell. His grasp on the material world ticked like a timer. A timer like his prince, no even higher, his king has been on
Crwys 122 Share Posted July 16, 2024 Spoiler Spoiler Femurlord, though my in-game encounters with you were brief, thank you so much for playing the role of this villain. "Gashadokuro" is a name we'll be speaking of for years, both within and beyond the gates of Sakuragakure, and I could not think of a more satisfying, spine-chilling ending to an eventline that has gone on long before I was even part of LotC. Suffice it to say that all of your hard work has paid off, and I hope you're as happy with the ultimate arc of the character as the rest of us are. Outstanding work!!!
Security_ 2287 Share Posted July 16, 2024 A Rat lights a candle within the cabin of his ship, shrugging off the layers of dust and rubble that once held the Hexicanum aloft. “Another prodigy lost-lost.. and that one was my favorite,” the rat snides, unfurling the sail of his sloop. Uncorking a bottle from the lich’s innards, he pours out a glass of Wick Whiskey into the waters below…
Werew0lf 24181 Share Posted July 16, 2024 "You lived a wicked and evil life." "The way life is supposed to be lived," "I hope you are suffering in some foul, ignoble place, as you would have enjoyed." Alkhayin's empty sockets gleamed at many treasures hoarded in Gashadokuro's life, a place known as the ONE PIECE, before promptly vanishing into a cloud of smoke.
Apotolofo 2210 Share Posted July 16, 2024 The Wraith contemplated. Near the end, she felt he might have sought to control her. But it mattered not. For he had freed her. He had shown her that which she always knew. TRUE freedom can only be wrought through anarchy. She remembered with great glee her betrayal of the Delmar, that backstabbing having brought her to the Red Lich in the first place. She knew she would always remember such fondly, perhaps even consider it her proudest achievement. She gazed at the back of her hand, his mark burned into her rotted flesh. Its glow and power had long since faded, but it remained as a reminder of his last words to her. Do not sit idle. "Might makes right." The Banshee mused. Spoiler Yooo I know I said it at the end of the event last night but dude you are absolutely a legend. Like mad respect to you for being able to bring together such a massive amount of people to rp with each other, whether against you or with you. You've shown me time and time again that you are a genuinely amazing person, and I regret that I didn't get to have more time rping with you as Gashadokuro.
Petsch2k 1851 Share Posted July 16, 2024 Deadmund would swing his morning-star upon the skull of a peasant deep within a forest. The paramount would pause for a moment, as it stood upon the dead peasantry. "My Lord. . ." the dark creature stated aloud, it would feel it. The death of his master, The Red-Lich. It simply would begin marching, a trail of blood would stain the ground as the stained morning-star dragged upon the ground. "They shall know your name for all eternity" "I'll see to it, that it is so." Spoiler @femurlordThank you for giving me a shot at darkstalker all those months ago, all the advice & help i got when i first started to get into conflict/villain-roleplay. Your teachings/advice has stuck with me, and I am grateful that i got to rp with you. One of the best role players I know.
Shorsand 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2024 QUENTIN BRAE knew not who Gashodakuro was and frankly was perpetually unable to spell the Lich's name. Despite this, the metal man, de-facto son of Shugo Kato Oijin decided to enlist in the siege of the lair. Knowing not Oijin's suicidal intent, the BRAE was rendered into metal slag by some means by which he could not remember, and his soul was purged to a spare husk. Upon awakening, he learned that this Gash guy wasn't such a good fellow, and Brae was glad he was dead, but was immensely pissed off that he wasted good money on a spare husk, and that he killed one of his only surviving friends. Quentin Brae decided he would move into the ruins of the Hexicanum and make it into an evil haunted house themepark attraction. 20% of ticket sales went to the KATO OIJIN FUND FOR GIMPS AND ROBOTS.

Qctho 301 Share Posted July 16, 2024 Wealth, fame, power… Gashadokuro, the King of the Darkspawn, attained this and everything else the world had to offer. And his dying words drove countless souls to Hexicanum and the dark seas beyond:"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in ONE PLACE! Now, you just have to find it!" These words lured men to the Unloaded Chunks in pursuit of dreams greater than they had ever dared to imagine. . This is the time known as THE GREAT PIRATE ERA. . Somewhere, some Level-One crook who had witnessed the death of the Level-One-Hundred Boss from afar calls out on a cliff oe'r the sea:"I'M GONNA BE KING OF THE DARKSPAAAAAWN!"
Rushodan 191 Share Posted July 16, 2024 HYPER-WAR HYPER-WAR HYPER-WAR! ! ! "We got him!! We actually GOT him!! Koyo-Kuni and the Shugonate prevails!"Kiyoshi was resting in a clinic bed when the news got to him, having being injured alongside Takemura in the battle. Everything felt a little more hopeful. A sweeter edge to the days of mourning that would take place for the late Shugo.
Zarsies 6795 Share Posted July 16, 2024 Eons apart hidden in the black velvet between the stars on a sunless realm under miles of brick broods a mummified vampire. She cradles a crystal orb lit with visions of horror; village raids, prisoner torture, the most profane infernal rites, and threading them together is a haunting cackle. The witch-blade hierarch whispers back like an echo, "KAKAKKAKAAKA..." She swore on immortal blood to her dearest friend and most devout ally that the boy was her ward. Her godchild. Yet she never fulfilled her bargains, never made due on her promises, and never was seen by him again. Here she reclined, floating in her buried tomb high on horror blood worlds away and gazing scry after scry on the exploits of her charge. How, she wondered, would he have developed had she stayed? What wickedness could they have concocted together? What cataclysm would befall them and the world, or perhaps what salvation would they yield? Tiwa Tol Tadela, she thought. Forgotten? Invisible? She failed her Fair Lady Cadmium, she failed her cherished Tsune, she failed her coven, worst yet she failed herself. The linen-bound creature curled around the seeing stone as if cradling a babe, drifting in the air as if underwater, and wordlessly wept. How tremendous her fury, how black her despair. This, she vowed, she will make right. Her ancient evil will return to the mortal plane, the woebegone Wilderness, and she will raise a red tide worthy of their respect. Her own respect.
Xergarok 811 Share Posted July 16, 2024 A shepherd read the letter directed at him, and so many of his ilk. The Red Lich had a point, of course, but then again, the message revealed nothing the shepherd did not already know. He was content. Time would tell what the Abyss would reveal to him. Shrouded by esoteric spells, the Bowie explored the Hexicanum in relative peace...
kuebiko 686 Share Posted July 17, 2024 In a puddle of Jenny plushes, no longer filled with blasting potions, Iolas reads over the letter and receives the heartbreaking news (albeit, even if Jenny told him about eight years ago). Sure, Xan was dead and killed by the power of friendship to some degree, but what hurt more was that his partner in crime had now passed- The one who reminded him that it was the right thing to do. That letter was kept somewhere terribly safe as a token by the best worst hero in Aevos. And a deed was about to be done to spite the now dead lich.
Venomous_Pup 2978 Share Posted July 17, 2024 A Witch of Chaos slipped back into the realm of Dreaming with the Brand upon her loosened its grip, yet a mark remained, for all she did and saw, hatred lingered of Descendants that hide their bloodthirsty nature behind a flimsy veil of morality, because she felt they were weak to be able to revel in their true nature. Days past since his departure and she peered upon the marked hand, recalling what the Lich had said to her, and spoke a phrase"The Weak are Meat and the Strong do eat."
ColonelKuehl1 560 Share Posted July 17, 2024 Tezellion'uth, Ahzek whatever he was now learned of the news sitting within a dark cave he contemplated the future. He drifted along the lands not having the sense or feeling to mourn as he looked once more toward the desolated castle. The apprentice of the Court of the Crimson King did not look back, off to seek those who remained as a new era dawned for the Dread prince.
