Under the celestial gaze, the realms of Hohkmat and Celia'nor have brokered peace through earnest negotiations, recognizing the errors of Hohkmat's past actions. The Academy of Hohkmat, in seeking to amend the breaches of trust and acts of aggression remembered by all, extends an olive branch of atonement to Celia'nor. By mutual consent, both sovereignties hereby bind themselves to a pact of non-aggression for the span of ten years, aspiring that peace shall steadfastly prevail, sustained by the grace bestowed by the watchful heavens.

Terms of Non-Aggression

  1. In response to their grievous misdeeds and malignant intentions, the individuals known as Haus and the Lady-Magister Laurissa, are hereby decreed to suffer banishment from Hohkmat and Celia’nor forthwith. Moreover, they are condemned to meet their end by death, to be enacted through the solemn rites of extradition as tendered by Hohkmat. This is the justice ordained, and thus shall it be carried out.

  1. In response to the egregious offenses of unrelenting slander committed by various individuals within Hohkmat, whose words, laced with venom, sought to tarnish the esteemed name of Celia'nor and Lady Yera, it is decreed that the entity of Hohkmat shall make amends through a succession of public apologies within the expanse of the following two days, to be witnessed by all of Aevos. Moreover, those within the authority of the realm, are hereby commanded to formally retract their falsely conspired statements, crafted with the deliberate aim to besmirch the dignity of Celia'nor. This act of penance is mandated to restore the honor wrongfully tarnished by their actions.

  1. In light of the distressing revelation that darkspawn roam unchecked within the realm of Hohkmat, it is hereby decreed by the liege of Hohkmat that the esteemed knights of the Holy Blades of Talyiinism shall be granted unfettered passage throughout Hohkmat. This measure is taken as an earnest effort to facilitate the rigorous testing and expulsion of these malevolent beings, ensuring the restoration of peace and safety to the land. Let it be known that this provision is extended to bolster the defense of the realm and safeguard its inhabitants from the scourge of darkspawn.

  1. Arising from the egregious act of theft perpetrated against the Noble Lady Yera, wherein a sum of 3000 minas was unlawfully taken by elements within Hohkmat, it is decreed that restitution be made forthwith. The realm of Hohkmat shall redress this grave injustice by returning the stolen sum in full, and shall further compensate the land of Celia'nor with an additional 1000 minas. Moreover, as a gesture of penance and to reinforce the peace, Hohkmat shall also relinquish twenty complete sets of ferrum armor, with the accompanied weaponry and the following sum of ten complete sets of daemonsteel armor, inclusive of corresponding weaponry, and all remaining stores of their munitions. This act shall serve to restore the balance and demonstrate the earnestness of Hohkmat's commitment to rectifying the wrongs inflicted upon the Noble Lady and the sovereign realm of Celia'nor.

  1. In solemn acknowledgment of their past transgressions, the leaders of Hohkmat hereby vow henceforth to abstain from any participation or affiliation with entities opposed to the noble realm of Celia'nor. Moreover, they shall renounce and condemn all endeavors to malign or slander Celia'nor, thus striving to mend the fabric of trust frayed by their earlier actions. This commitment is made in the hope of forging a path of rectitude and renewed alliance under the vigilant gaze of the cosmos.

  1. Per the prior transgressions having taken place, the following parties agree, that should this extension of trust, vocalized through the aforementioned terms that reside in an effort of remedy between the once opposing lands become breached by any means through lack of adherence or blatant defiance, the momentary alliance shall be henceforth terminated and deemed expired upon the moment of discovery.

"Excellent Celian diplomacy as ever." The Archprelate noted, as she waved her hand to the First Abbess Yera. "Prepare the legions for inquisition. We've many creatures of the dark to crucify." @Ewdrawings

"Now this does put a smile on my face. . ." QUIPPED Arthur, surprised his name did not make an appearance.

Silwyn departed that chamber, those nations temporarily bereft from the possibility of war. It was as he had theorized; to protect those you loved, a great array of connections and influence was necessary.

. . .

"For real?" Deep underground, the undead Lanre Cerusil eventually got word of the missive. "Not bad. . . I would have enjoyed this four decades ago."

His gaze returned to a cavernous deep, something unfathomable at the very bottom. . .

"Ano... Hohkmat has been 'screwed', as the humans say."

Aspirant student Yano Nezukai said aloud as she read over the missive, gaining the eyes of several shrine maidens.

"WAAAAH WA-WA-WA-WA-WA OHHHHHH AAAAAHHH!"
Dwight, soldier of Celia'nor shook his pillow, imagining it to be his sister, Brandy. He felt a disturbance by this treaty, but could not tell exactly what it was that gave him the shivers... or in this case, the eruption in the barracks.

Valindra rolled her eyes as the missive reached her.

"Doormats."

She scoffed, pulling forth a little black book and jotting down a few passages.

"I'd have expected nothing less from pathetic magi, however."

Astrid Thriceblood's copy of the missive crumples in her trembling hands, a wave of revulsion washing over her at the blatant, unfair targeting of her dear, innocent, would-never-hurt-a-fly, sweetheart of a grandmother. (As far as she was aware, that is.) She didn't even have the words to articulate how great of an injustice this seemed to her - who would tutor her in alchemy now!? Her academic ambitions were being compromised!

And, you know. Something-something- Laurissa didn't deserve this disloyalty from a country she'd given so much for, it was really crap that she was to lose her home and status out of nowhere, et cetera, et cetera -something. That too.

"Peace...but at this cost..." Celia, aspirant, clicked her tongue reading the missive, deeply regretting missing Laurissa's voidal theory class a mere elven day ago.

Notice of the treaty reached a draugar deep in study. Books on voidal studies surrounded them, as it provided a brief refrain from the endless search of perfection and deeper understanding. Dead, feline eyes scanned over the missive. Murmuring under their breath, through rotten and mummified vocal chords. Speaking only to themselves, and the thoughts in their head, and the watcher in the corner.

"Haven't they been dead for years?" She regarded. Something like faint sentiment ebbed in the back of her memory. Time itself had become a struggle to understand. O'zen double-checked the date, just to be sure. Some faint, gurgling exhale that was almost akin to half of a laugh.

"You are not forgotten, old friend." The creature mumbled to themselves, before the missive was folded.

Villorik did not have much of a sense of humor.

The notion of a Celia'norian inquisition, though, did bring a rare mirth. It was a pity Caius was not there to see it.

Mathi Lensul'em, commander of the 3rd Teluan of the Celia'Diraar and Fort Acaele'Siimah and councillor for the Principality of Celia'nor, grinned upon reading the notice. "Finally, we can deal with the darkspawn coming from Hohkmat." she mumbled nodding approvingly. "The Holy Knights of Talyiinism and the Celia'Diraar have secured another great victory against the darkspawn that terrorizes this world! Ay'Celianor!" Her gaze sweeping over the beautiful landscape of Celia'nor and her beloved village of Acaele'lin from her vantage point in the high tower.

Briga glares at the self righteous, self aggrandizing tripe that was this "Treaty". All these concessions, and for only ten years of peace..? Peace that could, according to this treaty, be nullified at the drop of a hat? Terrible. It was not a treaty she would have ever agreed to. Briga would need to have words with Faeryel... If she was to retake her former position, this would not stand.

...How ironic that Celia'nor was concerned with darkspawn in other territories when not long ago Celia'nor was spoken publicly as the spook capital of the world. Gods she needed a drink.

Rather than burn this missive in disgust as was her typical cliché, she kept it... Would be more dramatic to throw this on Faeryel's desk when she asked what the hell this was about.

Upwards did the gaze of Raziel move; into the skies. Upon the notion of the Celian Inquisition he wondered if an old friends of his would pride himself in his success. Those who were cleansed began cleanse others, one posthumous victory for Caius, so he thought.

But likely he'd just prepare to beat the Letterman with the missive anyways.

“Thieves,” said Renilde ‘the Lightbringer’ of the Petra, an old friend of Hohkmat and hater of injustice.

"Ah!" Athelde nearly released an audible cheer upon seeing the news "Finally, we can begin to move forward!"
