A single sheet of paper would be posted around the realm

with a peculiar draft of a face drawn with charcoal

Malna-Annika stood there, shaking as she read through the missing poster. Her eyes were wide.  She was in a safe house of sorts, trying to keep herself away from a certain necromancer that kept paying her visits.

"No.... no no no no." she gripped the poster in her hand, rushing to a friend

"No one seeking a friend requests them to be brought to the gallows..." Juniper hissed to herself, penning a frantic letter and beginning the race to find Malna first.

Ross froze upon having the missing poster read to them. How could it be so?

It was not possible.

They would find Malna before the others did, and they would talk to her. Figure out what was going on. They could not risk her life.

"No official seal... nothing to verify this..."

Something is wrong with this.

Something is very, very wrong with this.

Extremely, incredibly wrong.

Arabella examines the paper, three, four times over.

Every time it seems more wrong. Out of place, incorrect.

Malna isn't in trouble, she's in danger.

No one with real authority would demand someone be taken to the gallows for possible corruption.

Surely anyone can recognize that.

A former Barrowlord sharpened their scythe... They eyed the poster suspiciously.

"The veil of benevolence this author wears, we surmise, is quite thin.."

A certain 'ker was enjoy his time sifting through posters and missives, taking from them any delectable bits of gossip. But one in particular catches his attention and holds it there. The paper crinkles beneath his grip as he scowls.

"Who the **** is Heinrick Kemmler?"

Anneliese Vourkehardt stared down at the poster in a squint. "..Wh.." She itched the side of her dented cranium. "..Who even is this guy?" The corners of her mouth dipped into a deep frown as her mind wandered of the many things that it could be, or where her dear friend may have gone...

A certain masked Jester is quite amused and joins the others. "WHO IN THE HELLS IS HEINRICK KEMMLER?" contented, the masked jester dances away to look for more people to bother.

The pale beast baker reads on with interest as it then sets off to where it was earlier  “Absolute nonsense. I saw her earlier today. Surely I can simply fix this.”

Esvani tilted her head one way and then the other reading over the missive. It was difficult to read with a mask, near impossible even! With a huff she pulled it off and set it to the side, swaying her legs back and forth as she sat upon some wooden ledge. A grin stretched across her face as she read. "Love, just what have'ya gotten into now?" A chuckle erupted from the woman, kicking her legs faster in speed similar to a giddy child. All of a sudden she flops to the side, laying flat atop the ledge with one leg bent and the other still swaying in the air. High the missive is lofted above her, her thumb drawing along the edge of the woman's sketched face with a sigh. "You bet I'm goin' to come for'ya one way or another."

The marshal of the kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska looked the missive over with a certain level of interest. It would have to be investigated. He then sent the poster off to Willam Cardan, writing INVESTIGATE FURTHER.

As Reinhard peered on the missive, his lizardly gaze widened and his pupils thinned. Slowly did he lower the missive, muttering in quiet concern under his breath.
