From my understanding. Sharing your RP to your friends going "Look at this" via screenshots and screen sharing/talking VCs is for the part completely harmless.

It becomes metaplay when you are doing it to feed others information. They are telling you how to reply/what to say so a favorable outcome is granted to you oocly. Using screenshots to tell offline players what happened with a major event/conflict (Instead of having rp for it). Giving it to others so they gather the information they otherwise wouldn't have so conflict can be conducted. It's similar to metagaming in that regard

The entire server is metaplay. The NLs conspire on discord with their pvp groups. Remove the shadow rallies so something can happen.

Though in all seriousness, despite the "Nothing ever happens" memes aside, this is a good play on admins part. Whilst person do feel like something harsher should be done to those who really utalized metaplay. Damage has been done, be it now, recent, or sometime in Aevos. Its ashame that actions that were done in bad faith or with the fact that metaplay was a factor in such. 

It is good those who abuse it are punished, but seeing as only some are only temperary. There must be some means of regulations that follow, be it staff access to things or otherwise. Otherwise this is equal to pruning a tree but those same branches are going to come back eventually. I get second chances exist, but (if) anything repeats there needs to be something done then another temp ban that offers no reflection

Some people learn but a lot dont, If Admins are truely putting a crackdown on all things meta, or even beyond such to support the mission they so hold. There might need to be a firmer grip on the whole situation. For a lot of this server has lost a good chunk of its luster from the path set at least in the eyes of a player. But wish all the admins luck

(Jokes aside rip, may people enjoy the 3 month vacation ig. I also think people need to take a step back be it forced or voluntary and reevaluate. I hope no one takes malicious actions during their bans out of revenge, alts because they can. Just endure the 3 months, the server isn’t going to be gone in those 3 months you can wait) 

 

 

Rip Hogo_Bojo he was a nice admin and didn’t rip my mypets from me and then ask me how to tame an ender dragon he spawned in for himself.
