TODAY MARKS MY ELEVENTH YEAR BEING BLESSED TO CALL PORTOREGNE AND BALIAN MY HOME. In this time, I have truly found myself, have discovered friends and loved ones and have flourished within my faith. 

 

GENERALLY A NAME DAY IS SPENT SURROUNDED IN CALM FESTIVITIES AROUND A TABLE, SHARING FOOD, MUSIC AND GAMES WITH THOSE WE LOVE. For this, my sixteenth however, I wish to share the beauty and bounty of the Balianese lands that we call home. Whilst our days are often spent within the safety of the city walls, the woodland protecting us from the harsh elements of the inner lands can frequently be overlooked. We must not forget what it gives us, how it sustains us through the crops and fauna we live from.

PRIOR TO THE MAIN FESTIVITIES His Highness, Prince Lothar will host a short prayer and service within the Basilica of the Holy Supernals. Attendees are encouraged to take part and offer their thanks.

 

THE GRAND EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN THE DENSE WOODLAND SURROUNDING PORTOREGNE. The hunting party will begin at the gates of Balian, and set out to scout, and ultimately hunt. 

 

Hunters are encouraged to work in pairs; with the theme of the festivities being that of teamwork, it is encouraged to track and hunt together. Each hunter or pair of hunters will equally be loaned a hunting companion. The Short Tailed San, a commonly known hunting canine originating from the Midlands, is a prominent companion within Balian. They are keen trackers, and are sure to be of critical aid.

 

TO CONCLUDE THE FESTIVITIES, THE HUNTS' KILLINGS WILL BE COOKED AND SERVED AS THE FEATURE MEAL OF A FEAST, in celebration of GOD and the bounty of the Balianese lands. Should the hunt take up the rest of the eve, the feast shall be hosted at the next available date.

Isabel Rostova frowned at the invitations after the argument she'd had with her daughter over it. Even though she knew Isidora could not hear her words, she sent out a silent apology for the fact that NO Rostova would be attending.

After the argument with her mother, Alysanna stared at the invite, the girl trying her best to not cry over the fact that she was to miss her best friend's event. She was devestated, now tossing the invite to the side as she instead made to write to Isidora, explaining all of this.
