The Baron of Oakenwald, Lord Peter Rovare calls forth the banners and oathes, bringing his bannermen to arms to arms.
"A schism will not be tolerated, the Haenseni have overstepped their bounds for the last time, and the fury of GOD shall now be unleashed, just as it was during the time of Owyn."

"Something is Happening!" cheers an awfully gleeful Oyashi, who's loyalties lay in neither realm. She simply delights in the spectacle of the two opposing forces, whom she despises for their own reasons, tearing each other apart.

A burst of adrenaline in Enoch's body. "We persist."  His eyes became ever so brighter. "For we have kept our souls clean of treachery and greed." Around the poet, a hundred swords sharpened themselves, and another brick of focus crystal was added to a large frame.

Days before, as the Churchmen had laid out the charges for King Joren, two pieces of divinity spoke in soft tones.

"Do you think this would make him sad?" the quieter of the two voices asked.

"Yes, I think it would." The elder piece was sterner, but no less focused on the young King. They awaited his answer with strained eyes.

"..I hope he doesn't see it." It was a naive wish, perhaps.

There was a lapse of silence that no other will notice. They were separate, in a way, for all that a crowd surrounds them. There had been wars like this before, they both knew. Good people had died. Better men had mourned and wasted away.

"Then we will pray for peace, eh?" It was a feeble attempt at comfort, but it worked, for now. They watched the King and hoped.

“Why in Godan’s name are they claiming that they are the victim of war… while actively aggressing with an offensive war path? Surely they cannae hope to call on their defensive pacts with such blatant lies and gaslighting” The Amiratus scowled. Pressing a hand to her forehead, Esfir inhaled, before swiftly turning to call for her eldest son; the constable. “Achillius is sure to have his work cut out for him…. let us all be safe by the end of this mess.”

"2020, what a wonderful year to be alive! I sure hope nothing goes wrong!" Remarked a blissfully unaware Adunian hours before the Church's declaration reached her ears.

Upon the towering heights, where wind billows and howls in the night, a fidgety maid brings hands the letter to her lady, shifting on her feet as the woman read to her the details of the missive.

"These men will truly twist the word of GODAN to justify and push their imperial agendas..." She utters, tossing the letter into the crackling fire. "They will spread lies and punish a man for the sins of his brother, and claim to be upholding HIS words and truth, when that could not be farther from. Shameful. Wicked."

"Yes, let these men perish on their lemon hill. Let GODAN pass HIS judgement unto them all."

Einin laid sick with a flu, as she had been, and would remain for many weeks to come. Thus, in her chambers, she received a missive from the maid. Her head was swimming, and worry was drowning her. “What ‘bout.. mea friends, and mea wardship with miss Nadya?” The mere idea of war hurt her very soul, and she prayed for the safety of her friends in the opposition.

"It is stated within our Canon Law that nie one may be punished by ecclesiastical penalty unless they have breached canon law. Koeng Joren did niet. Furthermore, it affirms that nie one is guilty of a breach of canon law unless they have voluntarily committed the act or, through negligence, allowed it to occur. Koeng Joren had just ascended to the throne and had nie involvement in such matters. As his borsa was Koeng." The Lord Speaker, Sigmund Ludovar states. "It brings great sadness that this is taking place."
