Explanation

 

I was watching Evan's stream in a certain discord, and I noticed some uncouth behaviour from our new moderation advocate. Firstly, he was on his character (I believe sigmar...?) and he asked for a duel against 2 darkspawn. However, I noticed that he was doing some powergaming to get an advantage over the 2v1. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. After killing the two darkspawn (pink tag) players, he then proceeded to be toxic in global OOC.

I can personally attest to the toxic attitude from Evan, he was without remorse the entire time and was being so toxic towards nalutal. He's fucked this person up for life, it's a damn travesty. He baited this guy to take off his armor and then completely demolished him, it was unbecoming of a moderator.  It was a violation and I think the only result of this should be another forced hiatus.

Unfortunately our server rules are here to guide us to better roleplay. What you have done, this unspeakable act, will cost you much more than your moderator role. Convincing new players to fight then killing them, unacceptable. I, for one, agree with Teeylin, the only acceptable punishment is a TOS ban considering is previous unsavory record. While a forced hiatus has been suggested, I would recommend a TOS ban, for something this major. Cooking up new players is a serious offense and will be dealt with!

I would also like to point out that streaming in Discords can (and should) get you metaplay banned. I am of the opinion all those tuned into the stream should be removed from the server. They are clearly a danger to those of us who play by the rules, and do actual ROLEPLAY.

I personally recommend a permanent lore blacklist. Not only is Evan well known for baiting people into unfavorable duels and cheesing them in some form of bizarre humiliation ritual. Additionally, this type of blatant power gaming and subsequent toxicity lends itself to the negative culture around magic role-play communities in general.  This isn't the first time he's done this, and likely won't be the last if he isn't punished adequately.  As someone who's fought alongside Halt for so long, I've turned a blind eye to this behavior for a while due to not wanting to be ostracized from the Renatus community. I'd heavily recommend a screen share as well, given he's frequently been suspected of cheating as well.
