Cathryn reads the warrant with a furrowed brow, a conflicted heart. She knows many Mages who carry GOD with them and honor the scrolls in their every moment. What of those in her family, in her city? Surely it must be some kind of mistake. The young squire folds the paper, holding it to her chest as she exhales a short prayer.

Ezau read over the missive with raised brows, scratching at her scaled chin. She seemed surprised at the missive, yet at the same time, she wasn't-- the church was always known for having a hatred for the oddest of things. Some of the most devoted canonist worshipers she knew were voidal mages, so she wondered what would become of them. "This is a recipe for disaster." She sighed, "Hopefully the chaos is enjoyable."

The Devil in Black sighed. "Welp, they've dug their own grave. They can lie in it. I'll just make sure the innocent don't get caught up in the tyrants' downfall."

Driala inhaled sharply. She would likely need to go collect some family members soon and get them out of the canonist warpath. She just prayed they would follow her at last.

"Didn't voidal mages aid the Holy See during the war?" Asks  fellow Canonist Mattea Asadha of herself, scratching her confused little head. "This is quite worrisome, yet just as one could've foreseen..."

sighed "The superstitious church. How Ironic that they created themselves a god to feel safe, just to fear everything that doesn't step foot in their churches" the Arch mage just took the missive in his hand. the paper came ablaze before he walked away

A certain Pale Knight, upon learning of this, tapped his stony chin with one hand and mused aloud "Wait, so you're telling me I don't have to worry about getting melted by voidal flame when I hunt around Petra?" The darkspawn let out a chuckle "As ever, the canonists are idiots"

In his hermitage, a blind monk prayed.

“Verily, brother, the Lord GOD is the Most Incomparable, and none can surpass Him. And verily you must find satisfaction in service of your own realm, and the realm of all men.”

[Spirit 7:14-15]

"Idiots. All of them." A very arrestable man would snort. ". . .Powerful idiots, granted." He begins packing his things, and preparing alchemicals.

Cornelius Fellowmere, Baron of Codsburg, prepared to uphold his oaths to the Priesthood of Owyn and its High Pontiff, ready to take up his trident in preparation to zealously arrest Voidal Magi. “The locker is all that awaits the mage, he who aspires to powers not his own” he murmured.
