-Lightening licked and lashed out across the sky. Even though natural, the storm set an eerie mood. Reminding the Enlightened the threat that loomed over the children of Aeriel including themselves. Placing their lives at risk to fight off the Undead and protect all they see as hope. The students of the Sages gathered in the new tower raised for the Sages honor, remembrance of who guided them once. Garn’s hand toyed with the braid in his beard, his deep tone echoed off the sandstone walls. Selina and Chrisdena leaning forth listening to the names he spoke off, the faces flashing in their minds. Shoi’s quill swiftly yet very neatly printing the names on a bit of parchment. Zepyhr’s eyes glinted at the names, thinking over their roles in the Enlightened. Possibly for even his own use under Commerce.-

Minecraft User Name: BoogerBuster

Character Name: Brunhyldir Sarafand

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Brunhyldir is an orc who grew up in a small tribe, containing very few people and low food and water rations. His people were forced to live off of cacti juice and scorpion meat, until suddenly production flourished. Wood started to grow; making gathering of iron to make tools with much easier. But the tribe shaman felt an uneasy plague coming. Soon, a gang of bandits raided the tribe, stealing all of the supplies, and killing several people, including Brunhyldir’s parents.

He was tortured by the bandits and thugs that captured him from his home and held him hostage most of his childhood. In fact, when Brunhyldir was being dragged out of his house by a skinny little bandit, his jaw was forcibly broken.

He had to live on the scraps of his captors for 2 years, until finally the Oren guard found the hideout and rescued him. Two of the soldiers there, who were married, took Brunhyldir in and raised him, and taught him to speak proper english, and always fight for good.

But Brunhyldir had still never forgotten what had happened to his real parents. After his human parents let him be on his own as a young adult, Brunhyldir strayed toward darker paths, following Iblees for guidance and becoming tainted. But, once he finally realized all was lost after disobeying Overlord Freyj himself, he began to believe Aeriel again. Brunhyldir did many things, helping the Oren Guards, becoming a pirate, building New Terriko, and participating in many battles, on the Ascended’s side. One day, though, Brunhyldir’s life way changed forever.

Sage Sue was in Al’Khazar, and, after cracking a few funny jokes, Brunhyldir came on Sue’s good side. Sue invited Brunhyldir to help build their city, Haven. Of course, Brunhyldir accepted. After aiding the Ascended, and telling some of his great adventures to Riizu himself, he was invited to be a soldier of Aeriel. He accepted. Brunhyldir served as the city guard, and became an Acolyte. Then, one day, he and Riizu came upon an idea. What if he were to join the Undead – as a double agent? It would give the Ascended the upper hand, and let Brunhyldir serve even more honorably for Aeriel.

Brunhyldir and Riizu staged a battle in which Brunhyldir killed Riizu, causing Tyrion, the Undead leader, to have no choice but to invite this great and terrible orc into the Undead. The Ascended’s plan had succeeded! But, over the months, Brunhyldir’s connection with Aeriel deteriorated. He disappeared, and eventually went mad. But now, he has returned, with his connection re-aligned, ready to get back to guarding and helping the land he's known since he was born.

Good Deeds [Atleast 4 Occations]:

Helped to build cities: Brunhyldir helped create the city of New Terriko, with no obligation or payment in mind, and also did the same with Haven.

Fought the Undead: Brunhyldir has killed many Undead and their followers. He has fought in several battles, and knows his way in combat.

Gone through Priest training: Brunhyldir went under the guidance of High Priest Hightower, and learned most ways of the Priest, and received training and discipline. For one of his Priest tasks he had to convert someone out of Iblees grasp, and he succeeded.

Served the Ascended and Aeriel: Brunhyldir joined the Undead to help the Ascended receive the upper hand in battles and surprise attacks.

Has been in the Ascended in the past: Brunhyldir was an Ascended Acolyte before he joined the Undead as a double agent. He was the first Orc, too. He is known to be trustworthy.

Helped an old lady across the pathway: Probably the most important deed of them all. Brunhyldir has aided many elderly ladies across the street.

Character Flaws/Weaknesses: Brunhyldir loses strength when Aeriel cannot watch over him. When he is in the Nether, for example. He also has a steel jaw, which some may think is a flaw, but it is not. It helps chew Undead bones.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]: When Brunhyldir was in the Ascended in the past, he was in the Warrior sect, and served as the First Guard of Haven. But with all this time to think about his upcoming recruitment, he has also kept in mind that he is an excellent writer and speaker. He was raised by humans, so his grammar isn't restricted to that of most of his race, and he loves to write and tell/catalog stories.

He also received (at least basic) religious training from every race in Aegis, especially the Humans. So, with his writing and his religious and protective training, he also wouldn't make a bad priest either.

Lastly, he has known many merchants, from the ones that own shops on the sides of the kings road to the owner of many of the Oren shops in Al'khazar. He knows how to be "suave" and negotiate with buyers and sellers. He is also very organized, and likes to see stuff in a nice, secure place. Therefore, he wouldn't mind being a Banker (Commerce) either.

Brunhyldir will go to whichever sect will best benefit the Ascended, whether it be Scholar, Theology, or Warrior. He has a preference, based on his overall skill, but he doesn't mind doing any of the sects:

#1 choice: Warrior

#2 choice: Scholar

#3 choice: Theologist

#4 choice: Commerce

Rationale [What is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]: Brunhyldir knows that there is great reward – spiritual and physical – when he follows the light. Defending Aegis will lead to great peace, and from there we can make the world an even better place. Helping others will lead to prosperity for all. When there is prosperity everywhere, everything prospers.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]: In order to stay incognito while in the Undead, Brunhyldir had to master the art of deception. He had to know when to speak, when not to speak, what not to speak of, and when other people where scheming. He knows body language and speech. He can tell if someone is lying, or if they are simply in a bad situation.

But, there is no right or wrong. There are opinions of what is right or what is wrong, but overall, there is only justice, life prosperity, and peace.

What are your characters views on the following statements (At least 1 Paragraph):

1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

My answer: Justice is a totally different thing to Brunhyldir. Although returning ones debts and being truthful is always very important, Justice is really bringing peace to all who live and breath.

But to answer your question, being honest and paying debts is always important. But if a debt was dangerous or unwise, like the one Socrates stated above, Brunhyldir believes it would be wise of him to return the debt. But if the "friend" starts killing little babies, Brunhyldir will do a great debt to everyone by pacifying him.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

My answer: The answer I have is to face the misfortune. Letting things bother you or hurt you will not help you. You must act --whether that is changing yourself or the situation-- so that these troubles are resolved.

Taking a risk is sometimes neccesary. But if Harpies are torturing you, why let them steal your bowl of fruit when you could set a net trap? Of course they could get out and just get it over with and kill you, but who knows. The trap might work and you can eat all the fruit you want. Like bananas.

Minecraft User Name:

501warhead

Character Name:

Kalen Forseth

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

My childhood was a dark one. My father was murdered by his own blade at the hands of one of his friends, and I was forced to watch my mother killed with my father's pride and joy. I ran from my childhood home, never to return.

I was found by an elf named Atles, a leader of a group known then as the Pathfinders, composed of High Elves. Through much time, and arcane arts, I became almost a High Elf myself. I quickly ascended the ranks and became his equal, we were brothers in arms, inserperable in nothing else but death. He was killed on the night of Peara's fall, and I watched it happen. My concious was split into many fragments, and I ran like a wild beast through the woods. Memories of blood haunt my dreams still. I pray to this day that it was animal blood.

My first clear memory was of a dark night, I was resting. In my sleep a deep, foreboding voice spoke in words I do not even know how to say, nor do I think I could replicate such noises. When I woke, my body was not my own. My body pledged undying allegiance to the ones who killed my brother in arms. I commited many cruel acts under this, and I still to this day do not know how I escaped such a horrifying existance. I pledged never to lift a blade in harm to anything innocent, and have been on the road of repentance ever since.

Good Deeds [Atleast 4 Occations]:

1) I was a Oren Ranger in my past. I was on a patrol with the commander, Nords, when we stumbled upon a robbery. I hunted down the crook to his base, where he and his fellows tried to kill us. We rescued the items and returned them to the owner.

2) I led the Wardens for a while, during which I preformed many good deeds. I helped build the jail they have there and keep crooks off the streets, I donated to Malinor to help the innocent, and I vowed to protect them.

3) I have helped to construct Alras, putting many back-breaking months into construction. We have made housing for the poor, and offered shelter to the shelter-less.

4) Upon the roads I met a group of bandits. They were feirce and were in the process of robbing someone. They did not get what they wanted and were about to kill their vicitim when I lashed out. I did not kill them but mercifully tied them up and left them there for the Oren Guard to pick up.

5) The only true memory that was of my own when my body did not serve me. Toward the end of my servitude I was told to kill the son of a family, slowly, before their eyes, as they would not submit. I approached the building, and grabed the son, and was about to, when for the first time in months I had my body back. I put the son down, and told the family to leave quickly. I rest easy knowing they lived.

Character Flaws/Weaknesses:

1) My charater feels as if he owes a debt to the innocent, and may be hesitate to attack anything he feels has not done wrong.

2) My charater has a dark half, though in recent times has been deeply suppressed, possibly even destroyed. He fears it will resurface and attempts at all times to suppress it at any cost.

3) He still has haunting memories of his past, and sometimes they overwhelm him, even to the point of passing out at times.

Why you belong in Theologist/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:

1)Scholar

2)Warrior

3)Commerce

4)Theologist

My charater does not like violence, and tries to refrain. If it comes down to it he is a fierce fighter and will protect the ones he loves. He is a architect, and is skilled with redstone. He enjoys reading, and meditation. He knows the economy decently due to his work in Alras, but he does not like to ponder to much the universe. He belives their secrets will come as the world continues to evolve.

Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]:

My charater feels as if he owes a debt to the world he has helped darken. He feels as if everyone has been effected by him, and that the world would be better without him, though he does not accept this. He is a forward thinker, and is very brash at times. He decided he could fix, or atleast attempt to mend, what wrongs he did.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]:

My charater feels as if violence is wrong, and only the most pure of evil should this tactic be used on. He is emotional at times and may take it over the top, but he feels as if anything that is done with good intentions is right, unless the coarse of action is wrong. Evils are plainly listed, but sometimes even good can be turned to evil, and sometimes evil turns to good. Lies are sometimes nessassary to help the greater good. My charater also feels as if withholding the truth is worse than telling a lie, unless it is a good reason.

The truth is something we are all born with a right to hear should we wish to, and not remain in our shell. Justice is best represented by the scales. To balance out what has been wronged with a correct punishment. Should someone steal, the punishment should match the crime. Debts should be paid should the debt in mention be to someone who might misuse the debted item(s).

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

It is nobler to oppose a sea of troubles. Should you simply sit there and take misfortune, you will be miserable all the days of your life upon this world. It is better to try to deal with your troubles and end them, or yourself, than to slowly be eaten away by the misfortunes of this life.

Minecraft User Name: ShadowGunX

Character Name: Rilath Ilwindior

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs): Rilath was born to a good family with wealth and high status among the elves. For the first 37 years of his life everything was perfect. His father changed all of that. One day Rilath had decided to walk over to his friend Elnir's house to play. They played with bows and arrows, trying to see who was the most accurate shot. They played with stones, comparing the distances of their throws. After Rilath said goodbye to his friend he headed home. He'd pick up a stick every day and drag it across the fence outside his house before throwing it back into the woods, and today was no different. But as he was about to throw it, something made him stop dead in his tracks. A blood-curdling scream that would frighten even the scariest of monsters, coming from inside his house. He silently opened the door making every effort to avoid alerting whoever was inside. As he stepped into the main hall, he saw a trail of blood leading into his mother's room and decided to follow it. When he reached his mother's room, he saw her lifeless body in front of him. Standing above her, covered in blood, was his father. Rilath filled with rage and tackled his father to the ground, knocking the sword from his hand. While his father tried to understand what was happening Rilath took his sword and drove it through his father's heart. He stood, admiring what he had done. It felt good to him and he hungered for more.

He lived in the wilds on his own for 237 years. It was a dark time in his life...He killed many men out of greed and jealousy. He began worshiping Iblees and started to sacrifice his victims to his new master. One day while in AlKhazar he came across a group known as the Black Hand. He wished to become one of them but did not want them to know of his wish. He acted superior to them, which at the time seemed like a good idea. They ganged up on him and he asked to be one of them, hoping it would save his life. To his surprise they agreed and he became an evil not to be trifled with.

Then the day came that changed his life forever. He was in Laurelin, about to cause some trouble, when he met the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her name was Shoi. From the first moment he saw her he loved her. A few days had passed and he hadn't seen nor heard from Shoi, so he headed towards Laurelin to find her. On his way there a group of undead necromancers ambushed him and attempted to sacrifice him. They struck him with lightning and believed him to be dead. After they left Rilath got up and limped to Laurelin, not wanting to falter from his journey. When he reached Laurelin the pain was too much to bear and he collapsed on the ground in front of a group of people. Luckily, Shoi had been among the group of people and with the help of Zephyr, carried him into a nearby house for treatment. After he was fully healed the three left to see Alras but Rilath however left early after being mocked by the High King Syrio and his so-called friend Zephyr. He returned to Laurelin and when Shoi had returned he brought her to a private place and proposed to her. She agreed to his proposal and he was overcome with joy. He left his life of evildoing to live out the rest of his days with Shoi.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Gave food and minas to people who needed it- Shows that I am a kind and generous person that is not hesitant about helping those in need.

Helped slaves escape from the lair of an Earthdemon- Shows that I put the safety of others before myself.

Defended a human that was being harassed by a group of dwarves- Shows that I can be friendly towards every race.

Character Flaws:

Has a bit of a temper, sometimes impulsive, and keeps grudges.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]: Rilath is not a confident fighter. He only draws his blade when he feels that Shoi is threatened. He considers himself a pacifist so he feels it best to not commit any acts of violence, undead or not. He values knowledge and the educated mind above all else. He feels that every problem can be solved peacefully.

1)Theology

2)Scholar

3)Warrior

4)Commerce

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

Rilath's reason for helping others is that he has been in many of the same situations himself. He didn't receive help when he was in his times of need and doesn't want to put other people in the same position he was.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph): I determine right from wrong based on how it makes me feel. If it leaves me feeling guilty, it is generally wrong. Likewise if it makes me feel good about what I did, I accept it as the right thing to do. Of course what I feel is right and wrong may differ from others opinions.

Reaction to the following situations (At least 1 Paragraph):

1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

In my opinion both men are correct. You should speak the truth all the time, and you should repay all debts. But if you do happen to borrow a weapon from a friend who is not in his right mind, you should hold onto the weapon until he is mentally stable enough to not harm himself or others around him.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

It is more noble to suffer the slings and arrows. When you take arms against your misfortune it is an easy way out. If you endure the misfortune there is always a chance you will find the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. ((Love the Shakespeare reference by the way))

Minecraft User Name:

grand_kervall

Character Name:

Thaelen_Zerant

Background/History

(Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Thaelen was always known by his parents and relatives to be a "cock-eyed optimist." He could always find the good in every situation, but, perhaps, this was due to his very sheltered lifestyle within the safety of the Elven Forests of Malinor. His parents, both scholars, were joyful elves as well. They took delight in their studies and often took Thaelen and his sister out into the forest so that they could play whilst their parents studied their various scrolls.

As Thaelen matured, he too began to take an interest in wisdom and knowledge. He often travelled to the libraries of Malinor in order to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the Elves. After some time, Thaelen became bored with the information contained within the libraries of Laurelin. He began to thirst for adventure and the opportunity to study the world of Aegis by actually travelling outside of the Forests of Malinor, something he had never done before. He went out and purchased some travelling gear, packed a bag full of parchment, quills, and ink jars, and wished his family well.

He travelled far and wide and eventually wound up far to the north at the gates of Aeriel's Keep. He was overjoyed for he did have a few scrolls pertaining to the Ascended and their ways. He was troubled by the absence of the Sages and quickly became disillusioned about the Aegis he had come to know in his books. Having nowhere else to go, he decided to join the ranks of the Followers of Aeriel and quickly put his skills to use. He poured his troubles into his work and successfully designed and constructed the Memorial Tower which now houses the sapling of the Tree of Life along with the Memorial to the Sages.

Having many encounters with both good and evil people alike, Thaelen prepares himself for a brand new adventure, the adventure to discover the true good and evil which seems to determine the fate of Aegis. His time outside the forests of Malinor have been trying, but it has helped them to grow in greater wisdom and has also stirred up some wisdom buried beneath 200 years of studies. Thaelen now gives his life over to the protection of the Tree of Life and whatever fate it wishes to spin out for him.

Good Deeds [Atleast 4 Occations]

1. Thaelen has, on many occasions, helped others to see the good in their fate.

2. Thalen has helped to ease the pain of an injured stranger.

3. Thaelen designed and constructed the Memorial Tower at Aeriel's Keep.

4. Thaelen spent 6 whole days meditating before the Tree of Life seeking the wisdom he has longed for and has diligently patrolled the Tower making sure no harm should ever befall it.

:Character Flaws/Weaknesses:

Thalen, at times, is very sensitive to things that he cannot wrap his mind around, but he strives diligently to see wisdom in every conflict that presents itself to him.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:

Thaelen places his fate in the hands of those who wish to place their faith in him. He will serve diligently in whatever capacity he asked for he is an elf of loyalty, honor, and compassion.

Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]:

Thaelen is obsessed with the moral implications of all events in Aegis. He is not biased in the least bit, though. He handles things with rationality and patience wishing to discover the most peaceful solution he can find which serves the greatest good to the parties involved.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]:

Thaelen is a philosopher at heart. He determines good as to what serves the basic needs of all peoples, that being, the perservation of life and the dignity of all peoples. Patience and compassion lead one to the truth, whilst swords and bloodshed lead one to chaos and strife.

Justice should only be handed out by those who are of great wisdom, compassion, and have the heart of a humble servant. In this manner, he strives to uphold the integrity and dignity of all persons. If he must make the decision to refuse a man his sword, it is because he knows that this man would use it to cause bodily harm to himself or others and, therefore, could not allow him to have it back as this would serve no justice for the man in question or the people who would be felled by his blade.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

Thaelen would rather take upon himself the suffering of the oppressed then take up the sword and create more suffering. Many are called to take up arms and to fight wars, but few are called to be the courageous martyr and to lay their lives down to defend the greater good.

Minecraft User Name:AHerosDeath

Character Name:Kadeth Aranion

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Kadeth has always been thought of as "rugged" by the other elves and has lived a difficult, but rewarding life up until this point. He grew up in the Elven Forests of Malinor as a farmer with his parents, brother, and his sister. The life of a farmer is a tough one, as they are always busy. From tending the fields, harvesting the crops, and his other duties, Kadeth was always at work when he was younger, to help provide and support his family. At night and in between his duties, Kadeth and his brother and sister were taught their numbers, letters, how to use a bow and arrow, and other important life skills to provide for their own families, when older.

Eventually, Kadeth began to feel the pull of life outside of Malinor. He loved farming and his family, but he soon felt the yearn for adventure and excitement. His duties soon began to be flooded with dreams and thoughts of the outside world, and what it could possibly hold. Kadeth's slip in production was noticed by his family, who soon confronted Kadeth and asked what was wrong. Kadeth explained his wishes and, with a heavy heart, his family agreed that he should experience Aegis for himself. They provided him with his pack, a supply of food, his bow and arrow, and a small amount of Minas and wished him luck in his journey. With tears in his eyes, and a small smile on his face, Kadeth sets out from Malinor, ready for adventure.

Kadeth traveled far and wide, slowly heading North. He heard that there was a lot of action and adventure going on in the North, and that is the reason he wanted to venture that way. He adjusted to the cold climate quickly and used his skills as a hunter and gatherer to stay alive. He came across a large sandstone structure in the North belonging to the FoA. He had heard of their duty and bravery and wanted to join to help quell the Undead in the North and free the land of suffering.

Good Deeds [Atleast 4 Occations]:

Kadeth has stood up for Aeriels values and teachings many times when interacting with others. He has also shown mercy and kindness to Nightmare, a recent prisoner of the FoA when he was being treated wrongly. He has also given food and clothes to others when he had spare, and is always an elf that can be talked to for advice and a fair word.

Character Flaws/Weaknesses:

Kadeth will always stand up for what he believes is right, even if that means going against authority and those that are in command over him. In that regard, he is flawed because he does not know when to keep his mouth shut and listen to his superiors. He will also always stand up for mercy, forgiveness, and fairness, even if commanded not to.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:

Kadeth belongs to the warrior sect due to his skills. He is a master of the bow and is decent with a sword, although he is still learning. He is also quite proficient in strategy and war formations, as well as being experienced in healing with herbs and salves.

Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]:

Kadeth's mindset is deeply rooted in the way he was raised. He was raised to be a gentle, kind, caring, and respectful dwarf from his parents. With these traits, Kadeth always likes to go out of his way to help others and continue practicing the skills his parents imbued in him.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]:

Kadeth helps to determine right from wrong by various means. He tries to stay a neutral voice in any argument and tries, as best as he can, to fit himself in each persons shoes and evaluate the pros and cons of each. Kadeth tries to empathize with each sides feelings and also tries to use the visual cues of each side to catch deceit.

I agree with both of these to an extent. With my upbringing, I believe that speaking the truth and paying your debts is the way to go in life. It helps to breed honest behavior in myself, and helps to spread that positivity and good feelings to others, and then for those good feelings to be spread to even more people.. As for Socrates' opinion, I can also see the implication in that. You need to use your judgment to decide on when to pay back your debt. For example, if you borrowed your friends sword and he has gone mad, now is not the good time to pay back that debt. But the intent of wanting to do so and understanding the reason not to is the lesson learned here. With that said, keeping the sword until a later time when the friend has calmed down and has his wits about is fine to do. The reason for this is ensuring your friends, and others, safety.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

I believe that you need to take arms against the sea of troubles and oppose them by whatever means. Now, this does not mean just evil. Of course, opposing evil is a very important thing to do, but this can also be used in broader terms. You need to have the same tenacity in fighting evil as you do in the things that set out against you in life. You need to be just as enthusiastic and meet them head on and by doing so you will lessen the troubles against you, thus clearing your mind. This will help you to focus on other things in life and lead to a calm, stress free way of thinking. If you don't, these troubles grow upon themselves which is bad for any person, dwarf, orc, or elf.

Character Name: Ellser Galleon

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs): Brief Character History:From a young age Ellser lived with both his mother and father on the outskirts of the city Oren which lay a couple hours away. His father is a hunter and his mother is a farmer. Life has been hard on them following years of work so they can gather enough money to return to the holy Princedom Malinor where they belong.

One Evening it was getting dark and his father had not yet returned. Ellser's mother was getting worried so went out to look for him. Neither of his parents had returned at dawn so Ellser ran to Oren looking for help. On the way Ellser stumbled across some Bandits and was attacked and left on the verge of death. With all hope lost a small group of Elfs travelling back home from trading in Oren found Ellser lying injured by the side of the road. The elves helped him to the gates of Oren where they found Ellser's mother with tears in her eyes. His father had been attacked by the same bandits as Ellser the night before but did not survive the attack.

As time went by the elves went home back to The Holy Princedom Of Malinor and Ellser and his mother returned to their home in the forest.

Together they gradually got enough money to live in the city of Oren. Ellser got a better education and met new people but he has never forgotten how kind the elves were to him and his mother....all healed up Ellser gathered his stuff and began his journey through Aegis.

Once on his way he began to hear of the followers of aeriel... He heard of there almighty deeds and made his ambition in life to become as kind hearted as them... to become a Follower Of Aeriel. Years living at Aeriel's keep Ellser began meeting new people day by day. Rising through the ranks Ellser slowly became the captain of the architecture section. The FoA slowly broke down... suddenly it was disbanded and Ellser was close to being left homeless as Lady Shoi offered him to stay, He kindly accepted his most wonderful offer and served as the keeps architect and protecting it from the undead to come... Months then years past still serving as the keeps architect and most of all serving Aeriel.

Good Deeds [Atleast 4 Occations]:

1. [Me] Ellser has spent many hours of his time at Aeriels keep building and doing all he can to protect those in the keep, seeking safety and comfort from the undead and there followers.

2. Ellser was once an Oren guard before his time at the keep, keeping those inside Oren's boarder safe from criminals and undead.

3. Making room in his home to shelter the shelterless, comforting and helping them with what he can.

4. Saved an FoA Private from undead. The Private was attacked and chased by the undead, nearing death as I stopped the undead and sent the Private inside to rest and politely asking the undead to leave these lands as i didn't want anyone to get harmed.

Character Flaws/Weaknesses: Ellser has a tendency to help anyone whether homeless or not ,feeling as he owes a debut to them but also is quite a forgetful little elf.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:

Ellser will be put wherever his superiors seem fit, He has a keen eye for architecture, He will put in his all for wherever he is placed, showing passion, honour and nobility.

1 ) Commerce

2 ) Scholar

3 ) Theology

4 ) Warrior

Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]: Ellser's mindset for helping others i as he has been where they were before, without protection feeling sad and lonely. He knows what it is like and thinks others shouldn't have to suffer what he did. He also believes he owes a debut to the homeless, helping them wherever seen possible. Carefully choosing the right and appropriate decisions.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]: Ellser determines right from wrong by listening carefully and patiently to the situation, not taking a side and putting his trust in both of the opinions given but can also tell when someone is lying to him then coming up with a neutral solution with what he has been told without bloodshed and drawn swords.

I believe that one should always speak the truth as lying may get you nowhere but false truth. One should always return a borrowed item whether it be a diamond gem or a strand of wheat it may mean something to the owner and should never be displaced, If the friend was not in the right state of mind i would wait till he is able and return the borrowed item and if it was misplaced i would search until i could find and return the item.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them? []

Some may be courageous and would fight a war but Ellser would take the misfortunes and suffering into his own hands stopping more bloodshed of others to keep them safe. 'Tis better not trying to forget about your troubles but face it head on and stop it before others get hurt aswell.

Minecraft User Name: DarkSoundwave

Character Name: Sir_Bito_Minesmasher

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Leaving Kal'Urguan at the young age of 220 I went off and saw the world. Not knowing any lands outside of the city I stumbled upon Wrath's Clutch. From there he chased me away shooting fireballs and lighting at me. I fled towards Kara'Kungore Viceroy Gordoks home.

The Viceroy at the time a baron took me in and sheltered me. I sword that I would protect him and his estate. After many years working fer him I grew to respect him as a father and a friend. Then Wrath came and attacked us I sacrificed myself to protect him. Many more months passed and then the Baron became the Viceroy of Alras and nominated me to being a knight of Alras. I had visited Alras many times fer supplies but I had never really gotten to know the city.

During the knighting I met the love of me life Anora Firmheart. Since meeting we've started the dwarfish seven year courtship to allow our love to blossom into a bold and beautiful flower. I've lived a long life and I'm grateful for the chance to finally serve the greater good instead of just Alras.

Good Deeds [At least 4 Occasions]:

I've helped my good friend Kjell Ireheart with saving his cousin Valon Wyvernos. Assisted in taking down Wrath's Clutch. Fighting alongside everyone in Aegis against the undead stronghold past Lauralin. Killing a high ranking Undead at Kal'Urguan. There is honestly too much to list from the things I have done...

Character Flaws/Weaknesses:

His love Anora would be considered his greatest strength and his greatest weakness. If anything were to happen to her it would devastate him. His other weakness is Viceroy Gordok Yonhammer is adoptive father to him their bond is special and there have been attempts made to sever that bond. It would not only harm him emotionally but ruin Alras's standing in the world.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:

Being a knight of Alras I've trained with swords and axes. I've only known how to wield weapons my whole life. I've never had time to consider the others options I've had. If I had to choose I'd stick with Warrior however I honestly want the fighting to stop and enjoy the peace while it lasts as always conflicts will arise within Aegis.

Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]:

Growing up within Kal'Urgaun's walls behind the safety they provided he stayed with his parents helping them around the shop forging weapons. When his parents left the walls to go up north to fight the undead it hurt but he knew they would return. Weeks went by with no word. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years. He left Kal'Urgaun seeking a better life. Heading up north is where he found them risen as zombies. His mother Oria always wore a diamond necklace that she had even in undeath. Tears flowed down his cheeks as they attacked him and he couldn't do anything to save them. The reason he fights is so no one could experience the pain he felt on that day when he truly knew that he was the last of his clan.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]:

I determine right from wrong by the choices made which lead up to the incident. Most people use the law as a way of determining whats right and whats wrong. However if you really look into a situation you see a different point of view. Example: A child stealing bread from a farm to eat that child would go to court and be found guilty however he shouldn't be guilty as he/she is trying to eat.

I can see how Cephalus is correct with his definition of justice however I feel that hes wrong as well. If his version of justice is right then that would mean that we're all guilty of crimes to some degree. I believe that we're all allowed to make mistakes. As even when we're adults we're still learning and growing.

With Socrates statement it feels more like a modern definition of justice which is what we're all used to. I prefer Socrates version as in my mind I feel that it means we're guilty only if we do something we know is wrong. If we're doing it for the right reason then its not considered a crime. Course I may be wrong but its my opinion.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

Both are noble however its more noble to takes arms against a sea of troubles. As when push comes to shove the people will fight back. I've always believed that a rebellion against tyranny is better then a full blown war for a just cause. If you sit there and take the pain instead of fighting for whats right then you might as well dig a grave and lay in. Nothing comes easy in life and at times people will have to stand up for whats right.

((Edited cause I left the last one was lacking.))

Minecraft User Name: Blundermore

Character Name: Old_Blundermore

Background/History (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Blundermore has been around for a very long time, he has seen many things since he came to this land. Blundermore is a wizard/mage who has lost a lot of his confidence in recent years. Old and frail he now makes the Keep of Aeriel his home and his sanctuary.

Blundermore was always a kind person, always seeking out people in need and helping where he could. When he came to this land he befriended a group of knights and assassins called The Guardians who's role was to keep the peace throughout the lands of aegis and sought out evil where ever it might lay. With this group Blundermore took part in many battles against an enemy that was known as the "undead". But alas this did not last long, and the guild was soon betrayed by one of the guild's contacts within Alkazar. The guild was branded as traitors and undead worshipers and the guild was forced to disband or else face annihilation from the very people that they've tried to help. The members of this guild went into hiding for quite a while but Blundermore and the Captain of the Guardians reformed them for one last act before the guild would dissipate for ever. They spent three weeks tracking him and when they found the Alkazar contact that betrayed them so many years ago they finally put him to the sword and any others that chose to side with this man. Thus concludes the final chapter of the Guardians.

Blundermore spent the next ten years of his life searching for purpose, the old guild members had finally went their separate ways. He had no guidance, wandering the lands back and fourth he went. Looking for purpose when finally he found it. Blundermore had heard of tales of a guild of Mages that also wandered the lands garbed in hoods... At first Blundermore sought them out under the suspicion that they where in fact undead, But when he finally confronted these mages he found that their intentions where not what he had expected them to be. It turns out that they also despised the undead as much as he did and that they where starting up a new order of mages based around the concepts of Earth, Water, Flame/Fire, And Air. they where only three of course and had not found their forth brother as of yet. These mages asked Blundermore if he wished to join them as well and after very careful consideration Blundermore finally accepted. Blundermore became the Mage of Air and the order of the four was born. The order carried on how the usually did. Wandering the lands seeking people to aid and evil to root out. Until the faithful day when Brother Flame introduced his three other brothers to his "ascended contact" that he had been consorting with for the last 6 months. It turns out that this contact was in fact undead and when the other three where confronted by Flame and this undead they asked Earth, water and air to join them. Unfortunately Earth and water chose to join with the undead but Blundermore did not. He conversed with them until finally he managed to edge towards the door and escape. Before he fled Blundermore said "tell me brothers, when did you give up your vows for this heresy! there will be a reckoning for you traitors." and fled through the door out into the black void of the night. Thus the tale order of the Four and how they had fallen comes to a close.

Blundermore fled into the night never stopping and always hearing the sounds of the men and women he had just fled from hot on his heels. Blundermore nearly did not make it but luckily he managed to loose the better part of the group following him in Alkazar with the help of the Oren guard inadvertently... They did what they always did and stopped a large portion of them coming through the gate to ask questions which gave Blundermore the time he needed to flee into the wild north. Finally from here Blundermore reached the keep of Aeriel and to this day now lives out the remainder of his days within the comparative safety of the keep. Helping out where he can and finishing his books waiting for the day when he might confront his brothers again... ((this all happened within the game. All these events are real and have happened))

Good Deeds [Atleast 4 Occations]:

1. Blundermore found Chrome who was an Oren guard in Alkazar bleeding redstone out oh his eyes and mouth. He helped him to dawn bakery which took a good ten minutes to try and seek aid. It was then that he sensed that there was more to chrome than what seemed as Chrome was acting peculiar in that he was caressing some sort of strange object which turned out to be a pearl. After quite a few moments and an arrow in Blundermore's stomach, he finally manages to take the pearl away from Chrome. The effects where near instant and Chrome started to turn back to normal. Blundermore vowed that Chrome would never see the pearl again and left with it. Keeping it on his person as he knew he could not just throw it away... after what it did to Chrome. Blundermore took the pearl and kept it on his person enduring the tortures it brought until finally he was released from its' shackles by Shoi at the cleansing ceremony.

2. Blundermore has helped in the release of an orc from Oren custody after it became apparent that this orc was a slave and was in fact ordered by his master to help heed the guards and let his master escape. Blundermore felt that it was not fair that an orc that was brought up to serve his master's every whim should be imprisoned for someone else's crime.

3. Blundermore has spent years of his life helping people within the Aerial's keep, helping where he can. Farming, providing advice/moral support and helping with any builds that are going on within the keep. He also helps with dealings outside the keep and handling the more menial tasks. For example when Shoi had to deal with Vardak over other pressing matters, i took care of Felix, the high constable who was cursed at the time by The High Constable's curse. I provided moral support to him and advice on how to combat the voices that he could hear within his own mind.

4. Blundermore resisted the temptations of being given ultimate power from the undead and instead sought out to help the ascended as a mortal. He had the chance to have power beyond his wildest dreams but instead Blundermore resisted that temptation.

Character Flaws/Weaknesses:

My character has become very old. He has a non existent sword arm as Blundermore has never truly used a sword on anyone. little short tempered because of the fact that living for so long and accumulating a lot of knowledge has made him more detached from his own humanity. He forgets that others are not so quick or rational as he is. Blundermore has a weakness to ice that comes from his ties to being the Battlemage of Air. Blundermore looses his temper completely when he sees his arch enemy. Battlemage flame. The one that turned his order to corruption in the first place.

Why you belong in Theology/Scholar/Warrior/Commerce?[Explain the abilities of your Character]:

I believe that Blundermore belongs to the Scholars section of the ascended because Blundermore has always been an avid reader and writer of books. He also practices with alchemy and spells within his room and is creating new inventions to help improve his quality of life. Blundermore will always carry out what is ever asked of him but will question what his task is if it is more peculiar than usual. He shall use his vast amounts of knowledge that he has gained over the many years to help solve problems and work out what the next course of action should be.

Rationale [what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others]:

Blundermore Believes that violence is always the final action that he should take and should never be taken lightly. He always tries to put himself into harms way to help keep others out of harms way. He would rather try to rationalize and try and talk out problems and keep the peace rather than resorting to violence. He believes that violence is what feeds the undead or it is what they want so to Denney the undead this satisfaction is just to add insult to injury to the undead.

How do you determine right from wrong [At least 1 paragraph]:

Blundermore tries to detach himself at from the matter at hand and takes a step back... listening to all sides of the conflict before coming to a decision as to what course of action. The right action is determined with time and patience. The quickest action might resolve the problem but it might also make things worse. Better to take more time and get it right the first time than to do it many times and get it right on the third fourth attempt.

Justice should only be determined by those who are both wise and well educated. People who can see most ends before making decisions. But even the wise cannot see all ends, and thus there has to be people who are humble at heart as well to look past positions and ranks and focus only on the heart of the person in question. For in the end neither king nor beggar will be any better off when they finally face Aeriel's light... The path to justice is not a straight line. It bends and twists depending on the situation at hand. It is how we adapt to these situations that determines true justice. A blind and dogmatic path to justice will always result in failure and injustice.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

It is better to suffer a thousand cuts and die knowing that you did not give the satisfaction of retaliation to your enemies than to further the troubles of the situation by resorting to violence. Violence can never truly help the situation, it may seem to but really all you are doing is giving into what the Arch enemy wants. Which is violence, pain, destruction and change. Of course there are times where violence cannot be avoided but a wise man/women would find a way round this before it got to that. Many answer the call to take up arms and fight for what they believe but the most noble of all will not take up arms at all. Let the aggressors come and meet you face to face. Thus there is a chance that you might reason with the aggressors and come to a peaceful solution. Otherwise if mayhem and bloodletting be their intent then striking you down would make you a martyr. They will be in the wrong whilst you have kept to your vows and your beliefs. In the end it is they that will being paying the price for their actions... no one can truly ever escape Aeriel's sight. Even if they walk from the path to follow darker roads...
