TO THE DOGS OF THE EMPIRE

the discourse is kind of nauseating atp so i’ll just say that most of my pro-empire characters base their support off of 3 things:

1. the “will to power” inherent in the creation of an empire, reflective of man’s desire to self-improvement and agency over the world

2. the stability (political, social, economic, etc) that an empire brings

3. the social advancement that their family has achieved under the imperial framework

Looking more for what people themselves like about the empire rather than why their characters may support it- though still a good response thank you.

As much as I shit on the Empire, I guess you could say that there is a unified effort and storyline that you can see progressing

Overall I have a sense of purpose finally. Whilst I enjoyed my time as a bandit brigand of many past groups, (Dunamis, Flay, Romstun, Reiver, Hangman, Ferryman). No nation has ever given me the opportunity to actually create something and foster it through the the ambitious creativity I had always longed to do. Most turned me away for my OOC past.

Now I get to protect a burgeoning Empire and all the noobs, Build the Dragon Knights, and have a good time with my friends and connections I have built over the 13+ years I have spent on this server.

i know, i just think the topic’s a bit beaten to death atp (not blaming you btw- i just think what’s often lost in ooc discourse is the fun of just jumping in and rping on the server)

on an ooc level, i like having the ability to play characters with those perspectives. every nation brings something new to do, but the empire brings much more things to do than others

The goblin clan Ox has grown from measly 4 players to a mighty 11 player nuisance.
4 of which have manifested over the war vs Horde. Besides I've always enjoyed playing an outsider to a culture/nation. Empire brings cool tension to it.

Oh they got some cool builds - I'd play a human noble only to play in the Whitewood castle.

Werewolf said he would make me royalty if I didn’t complain about him on the forums. Pretty good deal.
