The Wisdom of Our Blessed Council

It is unfortunate that we live in these dark days. Many forces threaten our Holy Princedom almost on a daily basis. Not much can be done to prevent these threats, but there is something we can do as a people.

We need to adhere to the guidance and direction of our Blessed Council. For many generations, the wisdom of Malin has been passed from High Prince to Prince, and successively to the next High Prince.

Prince Native is loved, cherished, and seen by many to be the wisest and most capable leader we have seen in centuries. Native personally handpicked many of the members of the council. He did not do this without thought. He knew that at anytime, should something happen, that one of them would succeed him as High Prince. His decision to appoint them as Princes was not done so lightly.

He passed on his wisdom to each and every member of the council before his departure. We are now blessed to have one as wise and capable of High Princess Indelwehn to take his place. Native's wisdom is now her's and she continues upon the tradition that we celebrated with Native and even before Native.

With that said, it befalls to us to listen to this wisdom and to heed it. Recently discontent and disorder have plagued Malinor. This needs to stop! We are not the kingdom of Oren, who is racked with civil unrest and malcontent every half century. No we are wiser then that.

So I say this, cease with the disorder. Do not engage in vigilantism and trust in the peace and order that the Council provides. Heed the words of those officials that the Council has appointed to help keep our Holy Princedom safe. I assure you, if there is wrong doing, justice will be done. But we must not apply this justice rashly or blindly. Order must be maintained to preserve our sacred culture.

The Children of Malinor have responded lately with strength. The is no reason for us to remain mourning the departure of Malin's most beloved son, Native. He is always with us. We owe it to him to remain strong and to grow stronger yet, together. To prosper and overcome these dark times. There is light ahead if we choose to seek it.

Well said Sythra.....

Even though what I did was wrong i was not thinking straight..... lately i have had events plauged with so many people and so many problems it misguided me. But I am trying to come to a point in which i can forget that.....

But I have tried my best to use my magic to erase these memory's.

So no more attacking each other. Unless threatened. Thats the way I see it.

I'm glad, Deltaro that you see it that way. I hope you did not take it personally when I had you confined. I felt that you needed time to cool off, you were not a criminal by any means.

I thank you for your support.

(Yes I'm New)

Well said, Well Said indeed. What you have pointed out and brought forth are all true facts, however I feel there is something missing. we as Elves are bless by the Father and Mother with long life unlike Humans (said with disgust) We Elves must stick with our customs. Giving the greeting to each other. "May good fortune rule over you", Said by the Lower elf. "May peace live in your heart" response From the higher Elf. "and the stars watch over you" and then the Lower Elf. We as Elven Have the time to take, So let us take it.

Long Rain High Princess Indelwehn!

Elindor nods

"Aye, what the elves need most now is the wisdom of old. We have become so accustomed to the ways of men that their impatience, ingratitude and discontent and seeped into our own culture. Let us cast away their short-sighted values and remember the Malinor that once was. In the days before the undead plagued our cities. When we were the noblest of races."
