We have witnessed countless battles, weddings, and festivals which have all brought us closer as a community. I believe that there are some events that shouldn't be left out of our histroy, so, before we forget them. Record them here. Let the new members learn of our great adventures and let the old timers remember the great events that shaped this server. So, please add to this list, but here is my 5 favorite events I've taken part in during the time this server has existed. I'll also be writing IC perspectives of some events I've witnessed here, I hope you guys do the same. I will then, at the end of the server, try to put it all onto the Wiki. (Not in any particular order) 1: The Great War, Orcs Vs. Dwarves & Humans This was great fun. I thought it was one of the better wars that we've had, especially since before that, events, especially battles, were really at a low. This event helped spark a lot of new conflicts. It also allowed us to all have fun and introduce much needed racial conflict. In the future I hope to see more wars like this. 2: Kal'Byrst, The first major attack launched by the Undead I loved it. By far the greatest battle in LoC history. There was a lot of time and care put into it that made it one of the best events the server has ever seen. So much RP in the killing as well as in the wounds and how things were carried out by the players. It was amazing and really made me want to stay with LoC. 3: The Purge Seige, Galahar Vs. The Purge Even though it was just this evening it will go down as one of the best events in awhile. No Ban Reports, EXTREMELY well organized, and by far one of the greatest battles in our history. I had a great experience with Cataris in this battle and made it a lot of fun. Ever and the Galahar people put a lot of time into this and made it a great event for the community. 4: Undead Keep, The First One This is when my first character died. It was one of the best Undead events (Other than Kal'Byrst) that happened on the server. Fire was in every warriors heart as we stormed that keep and finally destroyed that damn thing that so many of us came to hate. 5: Al'Khazar and the Fall of Pampo, Undead Vs. Aegis Another fun battle in Lord of The Craft. So many mobs, the entire city was on fire, netherrack everywhere, giants galore and just so damn amazing. Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Don't forget that that first Undead Keep take-down in the north started with a Cake Party. Weeks of failed planning and poor coordination between the nations; but you mess with their cake and they go charging en mass. Also the giant incarnation of Iblees was pretty gnarly. The attacks on Al'Khazar were pretty cool too, despite the mess. Possibly one of the first major assaults coordinated by groups predominantly from each race; Krughai, Teutonic Order, Wardens and Blackaxes. Got to piss in the king's bathhouse and take home a piece of throne. I also won't forget that Undead Keep battle where the orcs went charging up a ladder from the rear and there was that room full of plain clothes minions and no one really knew who was who. Also thought it was cool how the GMs turned it into cobblestone ruins once it was destroyed. Another event that I liked, although it was minor and short-lived, was when the halflings marched into Krugmar to protest the cannibalism of halflings. Rare to see halflings as it is, so it was nice to see a few of them united like that, rolling up on a bunch of meathead warmongers. Also, not a true event, but when there were tons of mobs spawning in the Verge and I took down a pack of roughly eight ghasts with a bow and sword. Had to turn my speakers down for that one. Watch the last portion of the video, on the LoC Livestream, called "Kal Bryst" This will be very moving for people, it was a very eventful....event.
