As you all have heard and seen, the Undead have been removed from Lord of the Craft for good. Urir Ireheart jumped into the Nexus with the Axe of Krug, with consequences unknown to the rest of Aegis. A band of adventurers entered the nether and traversed the specifically designed event path that Undead and GMs had developed. I do very much hope that all had lots of fun in this event, in all honesty I can’t say the Undead did, but that doesn’t matter much.

What the Undead did for the server was never for any personal gain or credit for themselves. Yes, we did have a few bad people who didn’t understand being Undead and respecting other players, but we did our best to expel them from the Undead, and to create a better environment for everyone. Whatever tales you have heard of abuse of power and an apathy for the server from Undead are false. The people of the Undead cared for the server more than a good deal of people, thus why we dedicated such a large amount of time to it, planning events, creating lore and interacting with people. The GMs also showed great dedication, helping out with Undead attacks when we did not have the power to do so, settling disputes and helping us build. Everyone cooperated to their best, and it was a pleasure to be a part of this.

Of course there wouldn’t have been Undead without people willing to become Undead and dedicate themselves to responsiblity. Charlie, Zombez, Brum, Tyrion, Sledder, Castellano, Brevias, Juggernogg, HeelioBagoon, Hwaldar, Varge, Atles, Ralmslb, Deathmetus, Monkeychez, Wrath, Raid, Luchian, Masterfawkes, AllenTheGreat, Arteh, Angrboden, Cataris, Everard, Orehime, Lodrick, Lymdil, Vardak, Kahzo, HolyRane, Liri, Felix, Auzem all contributed to this experience, and those names are just off the top of my head, I may have missed some. In my 6 months of being Undead I have learnt a lot, and come to meet a lot of new people on the server that have been great to hang around with. I hope that the Undead have not left a sour taste in your mouths, and hope that the events and confrontations spanning over the 6 months have been entertaining and fun. I know they were fun to do on the side of the Undead.

It’s been fun, and I believe that the server will be better off in some aspects without the Undead. Though as they say, no one does events quite like the Undead, and we always hold the best parties. ;]

I definatly have a high respect for the Undead, considering that they faced so many problems in game that none of us ever had to face. Like constant meta-gamers all there RP is pretty much conflict RP. They were fun as hell to have around and were rarely appriciated by the players considering they made such sacrifices to bring such fun too us. Thank you guys for the good run!

For us it was a great event, and i'm sorry that the Undead didn't enjoy it as much as we did.

Regardless, without the Undead this event wouldn't even be possible, *le' salutes

Ah... the Undead.... I remember how I always wanted to be one, I actually wrote my first app saying "Race: Undead" XD but then I learned and went on my one path. I always loved the undead, jealous a little but oh well :3 Some of the funnest events on the server. Good bye, my lovely rotting friends!

I joined this server back in late July, not as long as some, but not as short as others. Since then, I have not regretted the thirty minutes I took to make that application, as it has provided countless hours of enjoyable play-time.

My second day on the server, I had my Advanced Villain Application accepted, after the VA Reform, I had another AV accepted, and enjoyed my time roleplaying as a decrepit Grave-watcher who wandered the north, warning travelers of the Danger ahead.

After a month on the Server, I became a Undead Apprentice, I'd learnt most of the ropes by then, and being an Undead showed me some of the best and the worst that this server has to offer. I had an extremely fun time playing on this server, and after five months as an Undead, I was rewarded with the title of Overlord, even as the Overlord, most people didn't know who I was, I didn't really attempt to make myself stand out to the average crowd, and enjoyed roleplaying with people, from convincing someone of my beliefs, taking a person hostage, attacking one of Aegis' many cities, forcing 9 slaves to murder eachother, or just robbing a person, every bit was awesome.

Sure, there were arguments along the way, disagreements, a few No-RP kills, or just plain technical issues, but I wouldn't take back one moment of it. This has to be the best server I've played on, and I will attempt to remain dedicated to it aslong as humanly possible. You can seal me in the Nether, but I'll always be here for the server.

~Overlord, Wrothgar Stronghammer, High Shaman Orkid, The Grave Watcher, Soul Shaman, AKA AllenTheGreat.

P.S.

My attempt at a sad-like yet happy post. B)

The undead have provided many great rp moments for the server, and for me personally.

Farewell undead, you will remain fondly in my lotc 1.0 reminisce.

Most of the fun I've had in my experience with Lord of the Craft branches from the Undead. In fact, many of the connections I've made are due in part to them. I really hope that something as darkly and menacing as the Undead will haunt Asulon. To be honest, I was rooting for them during the Nether event.

Anyway, I owe you guys a lot, and I will miss you sorely.
