Different Orc Skin Tones

Pok, Self Proclaimed Preacher of The Green Skin, has taken his valuable time to record the individual existences of every Orcish pigment. He has taken research for years and years, beginning to understand each pigment he sees. He may approach an Orc with a foreign pigment, and poke it rapidly on the stomach in order to discover information about it.

Green- Green, the sacred color of the Orcish pigments. Most green Orcs, no matter what shade, tend to become legendary heroes or leaders. They also tend to be the smarter of the Orcs, however some Orcs contradict this theory [myself included]. Green was a blessing that was given to Krug at the beginning of time and his three brothers also had green skin, however the other three races lost their blessed pigment after the Dark Days of Ibless.

Red- Red, came about around the time of Krug’s first cubs. Orcs began to rub the deep red blood of their enemies, specifically Dwarves, all over their skin. This became a common practice among Orcish societies specifically certain clans. These Orcs began to rub the blood on their skin so much, and with the hot desert suns, the blood formed with the skin to create a red skin tone. Children of these Orcs commonly would turn out to be a shade of red as well.

Orange- Orange is a rare color within Orcish society there are only two known Orcs with this skin tone. It has been believed that when you are being born in the middle of a sandstorm, the sand that finds its way to your premature skin, merges with the still developing green pigments creating Orange skin. This has been yet to be proven since no sandstorms have occurred in the past few decades.

Blue- Blue Orcs typically start out red or green. As these Orcs mature, they tend to be exposed to Lapis Luzli often and the mysterious gem’s dyes rub off into the Orc’s skin. As a result, Blue Orcs tend to think a bit differently as the dyes also give off fumes that create an increased awareness and extreme amounts of pleasure. They rival their green skinned brothers in intelligence.

Black- Black Orcs tend to work in the mines often or haven’t been exposed to any light in many years. Most black Orcs begin as a darker shade of green but they tend to be one of the dumber kinds of Orcs. Black Orcs also tend to posses extreme amounts of brute force, but are still not the greatest of fighters. These Orcs should be highly respected for their strength alone.

So, the Preacher of The Green Skin has enlightened you with his great wisdom and amazing knowledge of all colors of the Orcs. As you can see, each set of colors have their own uniqueness and each posses strengths. This, is the second writing of the great Religion of The Green Skin.
