I imagine we await the modding api before proceeding, correct? Also, there are people on our server willing to work for free, just throwing that out there.

Finally, if this was implemented I'd hope to see things such as:

• Scalable models (i.e Taller elves, shorter dwarves, slightly shorter halflings, etc)
  
• A plethora of mobs (but you already mentioned it. Be sure to check the link in my sig for ideas on that.)
  
• Perhaps a side-skill system which is based on attributes (I hate it but it would help balance RP over all) which includes Stamina, Strength, Intelligence, (standard rpg elements0
  
• Movement system that plays off of this aforementioned attribute system, that includes abilities for climbing, faster swimming, faster running, normal speed walking, and perhaps how much one can carry in their inventory.
  
• Speech indicator (sortof like an icon over one's head showing when they are typing.)
  
• Minimap system (I'd suggest just incorporating Rei's minimap directly into the jar.)
  
• Something like the Zeppelin mod which allows for real working boats, that would add SO MUCH to RP. Dear lord, if only.
  
• A mailbox system (iffy)
  
• Transportation system with realistic limitations (horses and buggies which can't go into water and such)
  

All I can think about for now, but more suggestions soon!

Sounds good... But, my concern is that would people still be able to use their texture packs / HDpatcher / mods to make the game run faster? I know a few people who basically need to have mods to even allow the game to run halfway decent on their computers (which are made out of old soviet tank parts lol). Also, would this even be like minecraft anymore?
