The verdict is in and we are still required to redo the lore. My apologies to everyone who has had to scrap their intended character progression and lore etc, it is an inconvenience I understand but one we will manage to work around

Still waiting on Mogroka's permission to share the conversation with you guys, should he wish. Expect new lore tomorrow... I'll try to make it twice as epic to compensate...

To be honest, I can work with this. I'm not sure what all the screaming is about but this could lead to some amazing new lore and rp. I understand that a lot of lore was put in by many people, but we just need to mould it into the new base lore.

Wow, well that was a kick in the backside from the admins right there. They had to tell us this so close to the swap, really? I'm very disappointed in them, not you Xerdun, you're great! But we Karakatuans have been working for months ooc to prepare for the moment that we'd set sail to our promised land to become Kharajyr. The fact that the admins, about a day or two before launch, come and say "Derp, no!" is just unprofessional and not what I would have expected from this server. Thank you for all the hard work (and the hard work that you continue to do!) Xerdun, and I'm sorry that all your amazing transformation lore that you've invested hours in has to all go in the bin on this one day.

As for me, this pretty much ruins all my hope for RP. Now I won't be able to remember the Orcish deserts that I came from, not even remotely! I'll never get to RP as the son of the son of the Mar wargoth, I'll never have a big homecoming moment where Gez'Mar finally sees I am Kharajyr... and too many other things. This was meant to be something new, where Metztli's children become pure and establish a new society from the ground up.

But as I said... very disappointed. :(

Mogroka hadn't looked over the lore, and when he did. He saw holes where he could fill in bits that allowed for ancient to be be incorporated.

As for your post, Gobb'Mar. I feel awful, It's not entirely polite or appropriate to associate the word "derp" with anyone. Let alone the few who devote all their time to handling thousands of player disputes & requests. It was late, yes. As many have stated in this post, but frankly it sure isn't worth hurting someone's feelings over.

Thats...well, disappointing abit. Was planning to have my cat person have Rae's memories so I do not keep on killing my characters, and planned how my cat character could progress. But if this is how it is, I understand. Still going to make a cat character maybe my second character, and still doing what I thought of. Nothing different expect the memories of the previous character plus lore change. Going to edit skin now, to get ready for new lore.
