I have a couple that i was wondering about though not specifically for my charter

1. Can someone just make a Nation charter, or does it need to grow from a previous one, like a city or town?

2. Why do people think they can just make a charter and have it placed without actually doing any rp on the server to get it? I would think that to be an apparent pre-requisite

Nation charters must grow from a Previous City, Usually it would be the same with Cities as you would grow from a Town/Village although, Many Citys have risen from the earth without a previous charter. A Nation charter would need to consist of its lower tiers, Such as the Towns and Citys under its control to be even counted as a Nation in the first place.

I agree that Charters should consist of a certain amount of Role-play previously before the Charter is placed. But usually this is in the Application, For example when questions such as "Why did you choose to start/build this City etc." This shows why and most of the Role-play before the Charter is placed. But I will see to it that a suffient amount of Role-play is made before the Building/Charter placing process begins.

What's the server policy on town/cities popping up right in the waters outside another nation?

We have a island town a stone throw away from Normandor that was built in the middle of the water. They don't wish to be part of us however.

Throm'ka honorable wargoth,

What remains the official policy on people buying multiple homes and therefore being 'allowed' to sign multiple charters as per the sticky on this forum? Is their any control to make sure people who sign a charter will actually play an active part in the chartered ground?

(I realize now not every GM question thread requires replies to start like this, but I prefer it.)

In the future we hope to transition from signatures to soulstone locations.

settlements will need a required amount of soulstones set inside their region to stay afloat ~

I'm going to write up a charter how-to and things to remember to turn into a video so there will be a concise understanding of players options ~

No throm'ka ? :(

If I could please pick up the thread from there, then, will this mean that VIPs get to 'contribute to' multiple charters depending on the amount of soulstones locations they can set? Or even to the same charter multiple times? What about long-inactive players and alt characters who have a soulstone set up?

Aye, VIP's would be able to assist in keeping settlements together - which would be an addition to their perks -

as for the inactive players - that's a good point. Perhaps there could be a script that pings it via use? If the soulstone hasn't been used in 2 weeks it is removed from the regions check ?

These are just ideas :]

Well I'd think (since we're throwing ideas around) that for charters within nations, they wouldn't decay. Its up for the nations to upkeep them as they see fit. But for the wilds (unaffiliated people) should have stricter controls.

Its pretty easy to look through all the charters and mark down the MC names of players on another thread. If they pop up twice, they can be edited out of BOTH charters they are affiliated with.

I think deleting the charters that are over a month old and not going anywhere would be a good start. It would cut the work to a fraction.

Aye.Currently I am cleaning out the Old/Dead charters and will be reviewing the Players whom voted and to those who have voted more the once to place their vot on the one they wish to strive/Live in most so that it becomes fair. Not having people vote for every charter because they want to help their friends but more to vote for one main specific of living in that Nation/city etc.

Hopefully, I will be writing up rules also, For things you can, And cannot do within the Charter application, Such as I said 'Vote for more then one town' Etc etc.

Will their be a cap on nations/cties/towns?

Settlements I think can have as many, but places like those stated above, should have some sort of cap in the world. Especially with the growing of people wanting to become kings/chiefs/whatevers.

I believe we will not be Increasing the amount of Nations by very many more, Two - Three at Maximum.

Towns and Citys However will be watched over carefully at the amount accepted but there will not be a Limit at this current Date.

About the VIP's and their bonus contributions... Would this mean that they would have to have multiple soulstone locations set at a single location to give valid support or... well I don't know how to say it but how would they give their bonus contributions, is what I am asking.

Ive got a question. I have a town, and will soon upgrade to a city. A resident in my town has asked to create a "sister-village" to our city, and will pay taxes to the main city of our group. My question is: does this make us a kingdom?
