I love it and so do others. Just cause 5 people dont dont mean the rest of us have to suffer.

My biggest complaint isn't of the plague itself, but the frequency. We just had an outbreak 2 weeks prior with something similar to rabies. Our reaction now is the same as before, lock up up the city and no one goes in or out. Unique RP experience? No, not really like I said we just did this a couple of weeks ago.

I've come to find out this community has no friggin clue what it wants. They moaned and whined about players being spread out in the wilds. That there is too many towns. And RP is being spread out.

So what do they do? Make an event occurs on a bi-monthly basis that spreads everyone out to the remote parts of the world, separates the nations into more, and then not only spreads out the RP, but isolates the RP.

This is a first time being presented to large epedemics for most players. The elves have experienced it before; good, they know how to handle it then.

Does this have anything to do with what we are dealing with? 20120331200043.png

Can the plague make you a zombie, and if so do you need a villain app to be a zombie infecting people?

Aww man, I remember seeing that at Adyton.

Ned Lud = Epic Win

If his response was to my post, then the point was totally lost on him. I didn't say I disliked the event. I could care less either way. What I don't like is when the community complains about one thing, then does the exact thing they were complaining about.

Since its 70+ to under 10. I think its safe to say we can have all the outlaying villages and random homes in the wild? No need for the village plugin. Thats great, saves Vaq some time and effort to work on making the skills plugin more efficient and less buggy.

I'll make a new plague everyweek on my villainous character if shuts everyone up about the towns and villages in the wilds.

My character believes that it comes from Adyton. Perhaps a subduai went there and brought it back.

Along with that document there are also mass graves, and strange green stains.

@Smooth It doesn't matter how people cure it at this point, All cures are false according to Freya's posts. This is a land of magic, we should stop trying to apply modern science answers to current problems. It could just as easily be a magical plague, Evidence to support this would stand from the fact that it feeds off magic. I don't mean to call you out specifically but its a trend that I don't rather like. Its like large scale metaing, characters developing modern techniques and machines without any of the steps it took to create them.

If the plague is magical, all bets are off - I suppose that's the perfect excuse for a completely unreasonable disease.

Of course I will! However, surely the best credit is knowing you helped make it?

((Spoken like a genius =D))

Would a magical "

air filtration system" work if one were to conjure such a thing over ones face...?

According to the OP of this thread, magic is, for some reason, not a viable defense against this disease.

I'm thinking about this plague and have a feeling that a race that isn't very much affected, will take over Asulon or at least extend their boarders

Also: woul a cloth covering a person's mouth help?

I'm afraid that magic isn't very... effective against such a contagion. You're welcome to take your chances though.

You can if you wish. However, we don't quite know how the plague spreads yet...

You have yet to answer my question - regardless of whether our characters are aware of the existence of bacteria, that does not negate the existance itself. The statement of our characters being unaware of microbes is not an excuse to have a gaping hole in the biology of the bacteria that causes the plague.

Assuming that it is biological at all.
