Why are we getting ready to move? We should be trying to improve the server, rather than planning for the next one.

Truly, I wish we'd never moved. It was great at first, averaging 300 people at peak hours. Not so much at our average high of 150 to 180 people. I'm lucky if I find a city that has ten people in it at once...I miss the old days with the smell of RP in the morning (xD), walking up to Alk Khazar or Alras, and just knowing that you had a bustling city to thrive in. Perhaps when it's not four in the morning I'll have it in me to post something constructive...

If a map 3.0 ever happens we should carry over very little, minimal perbuild, force everything to be done in character and limit the amount of nations, we have like seven at the moment, to no more then 3. And limit the amount of cities to no more then two cities per nation, a handful of towns and some villages.

How about we try to fix the problems before we give up?

And the way this topic is presented makes it seem as if we're 100%, undoubtedly going to get a new map. For all we know, there could be a huge catastrophe that devastates Asulon, allowing us a rp way to rebuild again.

Please read my post. This is for WHEN or IF we even move. If you want to try and fix things go right ahead and do it.

Big Fat NO to a new map.. UNTIL there is fleshed out lore for all Four Races and their SubRaces.

I'd like to see only four races and keep it there. No offense to Wayah, Mori, and Khajyr, but there's just not enough players on the server to justify them.

I'm not sure about the other races, But Kharajyr are back on their feet now and working fine. I don't think it wise to comment on nations that you have not seen, or know the amount of players. If we were ever to move map, the Kharajyr has enough players to survive as a nation.

Okay here was my full Idea, Either we do two Kingdoms and split the races (based on relations) to choose sides just so we can have large scale wars between the two, or we have it so we have a common enemy again, Dragons overpopulate the mainland and we all live on ArmaLuna or somewhere and often send a large army comprised of nearly all the players who can fight to try and win back our land against a large force of dragons and monsters.

Kings and Queens will be able to properly acts as such with guards constantly guarding them since we will have one military and a lot of players who are warriors to join the ranks. There will always be players on the city streets to kneel as a king and queen passes by, everyone can play a part doing something original.

I plan to live off my boat as a fisherman and be sort of like columbus with my skills as a cartographer and make multiple expeditions to try and find more land for us.

One or two taverns means people can actually play as barmaids, tenders, musicians and have business constantly.

Committing villainy will be that much harder and as such you will either be public executed in front of 100s of people or become feared by all.

EDIT: okay that was not my full idea but the a larger jist of it again. I want to see a bustling market place, a proper armed guard force, a true royal family, and an active prospering city overall.

EDIT2: Oh and what is your poll for I do not understand the question.

The only problem I see with having too many people in one massive city is that it might create a bit of chat spam and lag. I recall that in certain events that involve a lot of players, that it becomes very confusing to what exactly is going on.

I actually really like this idea :lol:

Some sort of event where all the races are forced to put all hatred aside and fight together for a common goal. Would bring some amazing RP but.... It could fail instantly when the races decide to slay each other there and then in a mighty bloodbath :P

And the idea of 2 sides, has always been an idea of mine, since I joined the server. Like.... Two large continents with an exspanse of sea in the middle, on one side would sit something like.... Humans, Elves and Mori, and all their little subraces, and on the other Dwarves, Orcs and Kharajyr (I know that Dwarves and Orcs don't get along. Just making an example). Much like "World of Warcraft" with their alliance and horde.

Do not mind living in one big city, I image that there are leaders of each race living in the castle and around the castle is what a kingdom needs: poor to rich sections, military, entertainment, docks, religious e.g. What Dash also says or could have two different kingdoms. Violent one and a peaceful one, which suggested by Tiazar.

If it goes into a mass killing thing, I'll just log off until it's over. <_<

EDIT: Maybe we could do something like Mass Effect? Like one big capitol that has representatives of each race, and then nearby we have colonies/cities for each race, but not a bunch that would become ghost towns, like maybe 1 other place for each races.

Rply would the mori really leave Asulon? They are quite teritorial so unless it was destroyed I beleive they would stay.

EDIT: Also reading up on there lore I don't beleive they would leave even if Asulon was being destroyed yet others may have different opinions.
