I think they should do two large continents and a multitude of smaller islands and such. Do the base of the world with WorldPainter and finish it up with Voxel with as varied a terrain as possible (but NO prebuild).

One Kingdom I say. Condense everything in a way where we can run a whole kingdom properly. Only a few shops and taverns with constant activity because they will be the only ones. If we change anything at all we should do this. Perhaps we all leave for ArmaLuna.

Here's my take on this. Races should all have their own nation. No more Holm, no more Alras, etc.

To each race there is a limit of 1 city and 2 towns. The travel distances in Asulon are just fine, no need to change that as the journies should be thought as dangerous. And in reality the distance isn't THAT far. The problem isnt the distance between settlements. It's the volume.

Prebuild should not happen due to the Aegisians only living in Asulon. Then dying out. I like the two mainlands idea due to the fact that it allows for a somewhat more interactive war system. One side will naturally ally with their neighbors and either overwhelm the other or attempt to win another side over so they have a landhold or something.

Honestly, after all the qq about the playerbase being spread out, why the heck would we vote for two large continents? That's what we have right now, the Elven lands, and everybody else, and we've all seen what happens. One mainland is the only way to keep one hundred people within reasonable distance.

As for geography, Asulon feels too much like a snowglobe, or like it's made of glass. Already perfect, and no room for change. I always feel like if I'm going to tough something, the whole place will shatter. Aegis had more of a... free feeling to it, and one that I feel needs to be replicated in the next map. Cities should be closer togeather. It's all very well to be realistic, and seperate by thousands of blocks, but there are only 140 people on at any given time. Not nearly enough to replicate realistic distance.

That's only because it's only elves on that island.

I'd like to see two medium sized continents, instead of two large ones (sexy as we have now). Perhaps a "wilds" island also?

Yes, pleaee! I recently finished watching Sage Candle's LoTC let's play series. The whole Ascended and Undead comflict looked amazing. Still, if the Undead do return, that means there's now a connection with the Nether. AKA, they have their powers. Now if they do return, won't they invqde on conquire a small nation with there magic? ;)

How about if we were to have two different land masses we have the cloud temple in the middle? A small island with free boats to the capital city for each land mass and then from there you have fast travel to the small cities which there should not be a lot of, so you have a lot of activity in certain areas instead of being so spread out?
