If it's an impossibility, then it would make sense for it to be dealt with OOC, but I suppose there could be the Great Gobling Hunt.

Basic genetics kind of disagrees with you. The possibility of a Goblin being born a "runt" is absolutely possible. Or a Goblin being born with "mental deficiencies" is also possible. A female orc can birth a Goblin like this. The problem is that Goblin would most likely be killed before it even reached adulthood (7 years old). The orcs wouldn't know it had these issues until it started training. Once the orcs know the Goblin has these issues. When they see him not growing any bigger, when they see him failing at basic Goblin roles as a child. Then they would cull him for weakness.

Well possible yes, one or two yes.. But not ALL THE GOBLINS..

Most of them are small with very skinny arms from what I have seen. I was never aware of any lore pertaining to their size though. Thanks for the clarification.

I find it silly that this of all things has people, including an admin up in arms and flustered on the forums

a subrace should be made for them or change the orginal lore, this is how the server has had their identity evolve, short and mentally they seem to have a bit of variety while tending towards being intelligent, yet slightly mad (lot of mad-doctor sorts)

trying to force everybody with a short one will just tick people off and spawn a lot of poorly written lore threads so people can keep their mutant abominations

This is the care meeter for what people think of your opinions:

_____

As you can see its empty. And no you cant change canon lore.Canon lore is suposed to be set in stone thats why its cannon,if we were to change it we could change anything like making dwarfs tall and orks purple.A group can rp the race how they want but they need to folow the guidelines of the canon lore of the race.

*Ahem*

http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/25932-child-rearing/page__p__127293__hl__%2Bchild+%2Brearing__fromsearch__1#entry127293

The above is a story about one Orc's adventure through Child Rearing. It also has some misc information about Child Rearing in post #3 of the thread.

Goblins get through Child Rearing by excelling at Siege tech instead of Combat. So their experience is identical, only the training regimen surrounds siege science instead of combat.

Two foot, sub-intelligent goblin in the War Uzg:

~Is put on Siege training Regime instead of combat, because he is nothing in comparison to the normal sized goblins, much less the Orcs.

~Is too small to operate most siege equipment, meaning specialized small equipment has to be designed expressly for him. Small siege equipment is notoriously ineffective in war practice.

~Is too stupid to understand Siege Sciences, and therefore has difficulty developing, building, and maintaining Siege Equipment.

~Goblin is thrown out (assuming he survives Child Rearing at all) at age 8. He will die in the desert because RPly he is too small and weak to pose a threat to any animal, and cannot build equipment that could do his hunting for him.

That is why there are no tiny goblins in the War Uzg. All characters to the contrary that also live in the War Uzg are powergaming, because they either powergamed their way through child rearing, or they skipped it entirely (there is no opt out option for child rearing in the War Uzg, thus that is more powergaming).

It's been discussed over Teamspeak, the 2ft goblins are used as Ballista and Trebuchet ammo. And have option to be permakilled

its been disgussed on the forums, 2 ft gobos are now used as ballista ammo and when they die are perma killed

Austin, please l2grammar. I do not understand what you are trying to debate. You have no power/jurisdiction to perma-kill characters off.

It's been stated a few times already that not all of the smaller goblins are stupid, the majority of them retain the intelligence of their larger cousins. Just throwing that out there...

From my view and close experience with the current lore breaking goblins, none of them seem to retain any of the sort. If so, an example should be put forward. Most of them in Arethor are running around and acting somewhat dumb and trying to seek out attention. Unless if there are others that represent such knowledge, I am unknowing of them.

Orcs aren't dumb, they are brutal. Goblins that I've seen are simply idiotic, besides the ones back in Aegis. Regular Orcs hardly act as dumb as the goblins I've seen. On another note, the small goblins somehow retain some good combat knowledge and prowess from, once again, my experience.
