Figured many of you wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about me and its easier than repeating on TS all the time :P

As you can see to the left of the post here I've been on LotC since October. Funny story about that actually. Two friends of mine, hojoe15 (Chrix) and droolguy (Ukar), were playing on here a month before I did.

Chrix and I were good friends while we were both in the same unit at Fort Hood several years ago. Ukar and I knew each other when we were in Satcom school in Fort Gordon, however we didn't know who each other was until we spoke on TS. When I recognized his voice and name that when we found we knew each other in AIT.

The Internet can be a small world sometimes.

Now for non-LotC related stuff...

I grew up in a small town in Eastern North Carolina. Did a little bit of college in 2001-2003 before joining the Army in 2006. As stated above I was in Satellite Communications. Didn't see either Iraq or Afghanistan, but I did have a small deployment to Egypt for a joint training exercise with the Egyptians and much of our NATO allies.

After 2010 I got out and went back to college where I am currently finishing up a degree in Computer Information Technology. Now I'm 29 years old and hoping the economy pulls back up by the time I'm done with school.

I enjoy Paintballing, Hanging out with friends, and going to the range to fire my Mini 14 and M1911. As for my taste in music, I enjoy just a little bit of everything (thats not country, rap, or pop), though I really enjoy remixes done of older games, I just love having the nostalgic feeling when listening to those.

Now with the boring stuff out of the way...

I started roleplaying back in 1997 with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. Used a bit of both of first edition and second edition rules. About halfway into High School we switched to third edition.

In late 2001 is when I began to first start roleplaying online with Everquest. Since then I've tried to be on any RP server of any MMO I've played. I've played Everquest, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, Age of Conan, Star Trek Online, Rift, Fallen Earth, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Tera. I plan on playing MechWarrior Online when it is released. Though I've played all those MMOs, I've only RPed on EQ, EQ2, and WoW. I've had one character from EQ1 that I still play in EQ2 and have had them since 2001. Currently I play LotC and EQ2.

I enjoy a wide variety of games of different genres. I prefer PC over console as well. Though the MechWarrior franchise is one of my favorites. At one point in High School, I was an adept league player for both MechWarrior 3 and MechWarrior 4 in both ladder and planetary based leagues. As I said before I am awaiting the release of MechWarrior Online, the first MechWarrior game since MW4 over 10 years ago. In order to get my fix however, I play MechWarrior Living Legends, a Crysis Wars overhaul mod.

While I'm decent at first person shooters, I'm not a huge fan of them. I like strategic based ones such as Battlefield 2142 and Tribes 2. May look into playing Planetside 2 when it comes out.

My biggest thing is just playing any fun team based game with friends over Ventrilo or Teamspeak. So I can be persuaded to play many things as long as it isn't too expensive to do so.

I never did like Minecraft before this. I thought Terraria was a superior game. What drew me to LotC was that it was a RP environment that you could build and mold. One of the things I loved most about EQ2. So I picked up Minecraft to play here. I still have yet to play single player to this day.

So far I've enjoyed my time on LotC. Its had its ups and downs, but it has a good solid base and a good leadership. It isn't perfect but it is the best I've seen out here so I intend to stay for quite a bit while longer.

I know sometimes I can come off as a little rough on these forums and I'm sure I've made as many enemies as friends. But I will say this, I say what I believe is right and I try to formulate my responses in a mature and intelligent manner. I believe it has worked out well. I have many rivals that I respect and receive respect in return, even though we do not see eye to eye. In the end it makes us better as we can see a different view point which I always believe is important.

Others... well some simply have agendas that they believe I stand in the way of for whatever reason. Eventually they will grow up and see that I'm not against them arbitrarily. Heck sometimes I argue with people I agree with, if there is a lack of an opposing opinion just to play devil's advocate. Helps the whole keep an open mind. Though unfortunately some don't see it that way.

On LotC and outside the server I'm not one to hold grudges. Even when I disagree with someone, or even seem abrasive, nothing I say or do is personal. Many friends that I have on here I've had arguments in the past. I can work with just about anyone on the server as long as they can come to me about the issue in a mature and well thought out manner, not relying on rash behavior or statements.

I believe it always helps when everyone realizes that though we may have different opinions, we have the same goal. To make the server better. Once people realize that, they get along so so so much better.

I say all this just to give people a bit of an insight.

I've been dying to ask something... What would you do if Sythra died? I've never seen you as another character. This is NOT hinting an assassination or anything, I am just curious.
