As long as PVP still exists in LOTC in some form then should be fine. I remeber when "The Verge" was accidentally announced as a No-RP kill zone. Yeah it was nuts with all the ban reports flying around for those days.

 

PVP minded players should join armies and RP escalations that eventually lead to full out battle.

Parody of your spiteful post aside, like I've said about 2 - 3 times now, LOTC has always had elements of PVP and PVE, so no matter how many times you state that we're a roleplay server, it won't change the fact that we're not 100% hardcore roleplay and with that knowledge, perhaps you could go away and think of an actual reason as to why we shouldn't have this island.

 

To address concerns over PVP not in any way being RP, ask yourself why you play on a minecraft server if you so strongly believe using the game is so ANTI-RP. If a child kills an orc, it's quite clear that it is BS, so you report it, examples such as that are so silly it beggars belief.

No, we are not 100% rp, But those things detracting are necessary, like PvP in wars. This, however, is not needed at all. Necessary evils do not justify unnecessary ones.

Seems about right, unless he is rambo or something.

 

Also, why would anyone hold a meeting in the badlands, if they know of the danger. Some very obvious flaws in your example and it represents the general feeling toward PVP quite well to be honest.

2.5.2 will be made by 1 or 2 GMs maximum.

Building on 3.0 will not be affected.

Have it so this island is a war zone then. Rather than make it no RP killing all the time, have it be "STOP OR DIE" level RP like Aegis was, even the sart of The Verge. Have shouting going on and what not. I really don't see the problem with this island. If you don't want to take part don't go there. The map has been designed so that you don't have to go there if you don't want to.

You forget this is minecraft, PvP will always be apart of MC. If you want complete hardcore RP then go on a forum specially designed for such.
