WHAT? NO NECROPHILIA? Uhm... How do I hide my chat logs >.>

That's just wrong... There's a reason it isn't allowed :P

And I still have no idea what pugsying is. :P

It's a "No-Rp kill", when a player kills another player without any roleplay prior.

Why anyone would give someone the pleasure of naming it after them, is beyond me. :/

Ok, I was trying to figure out what on earth that meant.  I was leaning towards explicit activities with pugs, but that was covered by bestiality... Much less confused now.

To pugsy is to non-roleplay kill a group (3 or more) players, usually in an attempt to leave the server with a 'bang'. It's named after the player who is most known for it. I probably should've clarified that in the OP.

Then by perma banning them, you're giving them what they want.

I don't see the problem there. It doesn't really matter what their intentions are at all when they pugsy, they just get perma'd.

Edit: That also means, they absolutely never come back. At all. ^-^

Also, I didn't get my previous question answered... >_>

Just for clarification, does the term "modified client" include people using x-ray packs and other such nonsense?

Edit: Just to make the question more clear, does that mean people who have previously used an x-ray pack would fall under the "able to be unbanned" category?

The reason why I asked that is because using an x-ray pack technically isn't having a "modified client". Does that mean they are still permanent?

Cyndi - yep, but its the only suitable method. If we don't ban them, that doesn't work. Times bans they'll just do it again as they clearly want to be remembered. Permabans - they often regret when they wish to return and simply discover we ain't budging.

Telanir, yup - that includes x-ray texture packs.

So we let them stay??? That'll sure teach em a lesson!

Speak to the mod who gave them to you. That is why you can see them now. Though in the case of unnamed strikes that never were explained neither now nor at the time, we shall just have to wear them indefinitely.

Thanks up-tight Forum mods!

Comments like this are so uneeded and they make me bang my head against the wall.  It's so counter productive to insult the mods in such a way.  If there are unexplained warnings on your account, please take them up with an FM rather than griping about them publicly without much information behind them.  We can all be a well-oiled team if we make the effort! :)

Apologies.

There are systems in place now that make things clear for everyone. The note on your warnings is so very vital. It is just a shame that previous warnings that were not entirely justified and perhaps never explained will just remain on a number of members because there is no detailed records.
