Sails can be seen on the far horizon. "The fishing boats aren't usually out yet...and those don't even look like fishing boats. Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen boats like that in all my life."

Yeah , I know this may sound a little out there, but I think it would be really cool to have an unknown and unplayable  nomadic race (tribe) find it's way onto Anthos' shores. They would be played by members of the event team and admins. They wouldn't stay long since they are  nomadic and are constantly traveling around the world.
 
I think it would make for some good conversations and rp for people to see a race that has never been seen before, and it would give off a sense that the world of Lotc is really big, and there are tons of things out there that nobody knows about. (Make the world beyond the continent of Anthos seem alive).
 
These people would stay  around the area where they docked trading goods and conversing with people since they have never seen any of  people or races that live in Anthos, just like we haven't seen them. We would tell them about us, and they would tell us about who they are and what they've seen, etc.
 
They would be relatable but mysterious at the same time (I was thinking  along the lines of the traveler character from Journey). But after a while, they would get back on their ships and leave  for different parts of the wold, never to be seen again (unless you want to bring them back)
 
I know this is kind of a different event idea, but if you guys want to pull it off that would be really cool. You can do what you will with this idea, just throwing it out there.

I just thought this would be a cool idea to do at some point, to make the world of LoTC seem more intriguing and alive outside of our small continent.

If so, do you require actors and/or builders?
This is more of me just giving the event team a cool idea that they can use whenever they want, and they have free reign over however they want to pull it off. I would think actors could help get things started/play the nomads, and builders to build some cool looking ships.

I really like this idea, I never really though too much about the current going ons of the world outside of Anthos and it would be really cool if we could get some sort of indication to what is happening outside of the world.

In the event's current state it cannot be accepted. However, if you are willing to expand upon your idea and flesh out the race that visits our land, your event would stand a much better chance at being accepted. Thanks!
