Jullius sits at his desk in Krak Du Owynbliedd, scribbling out yet another diagram. Fellow Ensign Alexei enters the room, bringing news of August Blackmonts demise. He grimaces at the various 'specimens' located on various shelves in the chamber as Jullius replies.

"May he rot in the deepest darkest pit in all of hell for what he did to Seventis. May his ******* be sodomized repeatedly by Iblees himself, the most vile man I had ever layed eyes on."

(( We'll miss you. c u l8tr bruh. RIP in peace. ))

Lorin clutched her son's hand as they stepped into August's bedroom to bid their final farewell. Her heart had leapt at the sight of her now teenaged son. It had been so long since she had laid eyes on the boy. Her excitement and happiness at seeing the handsome young man her son had grown into was tempered by a strange sort of melancholy, though. August's health had been getting worse and worse in recent weeks. He spent most of his time lying in bed now. Lorin might have found it a little funny, if she didn't feel so strange about it. She and August had both been sick in bed lately. He was laid up because he was dying. She was laid up because of her pregnancy. Their second child would never know his or her father, it seemed. But that was why Lorin had filled so many books with information on him, so that his legacy wouldn't die with him.

As August murmured his goodbyes, Lorin placed a hardback copy of the first volume of his biography on the bedside table. She rubbed Tiberius's shoulder as they turned to leave. Her son's face was expressionless, though she could see the hostility in his eyes. She used to wear the very same expression when dealing with August. To Tiberius, August was just a tyrant. August was the man who'd prevented him from having friends or going outside, like normal young boys did. Lorin could fully understand why Tiberius hated his father. She had once felt the same way.

Lorin never loved August. How could she, when he'd stolen her son from her? Lorin had never forgiven him for that. For years, he'd stopped her from seeing Tiberius even for a moment. The first ten or so years of their marriage had been filled with animosity because of that. Lorin still had a large scar on her cheek from the time he'd backhanded her while wearing an iron gauntlet after she'd sassed him. August had never been a kind husband or a loving one, though he was unexpectedly generous at times. Yet despite all his cruelty over the course of their marriage, Lorin couldn't bring herself to hate him entirely - not anymore at least. Her last five years living in the Dreadfort had caused a shift in their relationship. Seeing him around the fort, eating dinner with him, and watching him interact with his men had dulled her hatred of him a bit. For all his nastiness, he was a human man like everyone else - a man who still liked to prance around in full armor despite being too old to fight. A man who, in spite of his cynical and brutally realistic outlook, still believed in ghosts. A man who grumbled about bright lights and dashed around like a fussy mother hen when he was upset.

His history had fascinated her as well. All her life, she'd dreamed of being a pirate queen or a wandering adventurer. Life had killed her dreams long ago. That was why his story captivated her. August had lived the life she'd fantasized about as a little girl. He's been a bandit prince, living a free life without restrictions. By writing his story, she was able to live it through him. Their long evening talks about his history had thrilled her. Their domestic coexistence, combined with her fascination for his history, had turned her hatred of him to a grudging respect, perhaps even fondness. It was something she'd never admit, but she was beginning to like him.

Perhaps, if they'd met when he was still a young bandit lord, she could have loved him.

Perhaps.

A messenger approaches Talibar while he stands before the Nieric Alter of Greyndor Citadel. He listens to the news of the death of Augustus. A look of slight sorrow is seen in his eyes.

Augustus, that name was too familiar. He had always known of the Blackmont. He had heard stories and read the books of Lorin Blackmont. He did not see Augustus as a kind and caring being. He saw him as a cruel bandit lord. But he could not help but respect Augustus. All throughout his life he had great ambition. He took what he desired and took orders from nobody. He had natural leadership skills and was a fine warrior.

((Coaster. I have not talked to you much. But you were a hell of a character. I can remember back in Asulon, Prince was the character that my character wished to defeat until he had settled down. You have created some great roleplay and have affected a lot of people on the server. It is quite sad to see you go. It was a pleasure being able to interact in the situations you had created. I wish you do great in all you do in life. Farewell friend, and good luck.))

Heinrich nods sadly as he hears of the Lord Blackmont's death. He is at a loss for words.

((I used to hate you, but then I found out you were a pretty cool dude. No matter if I was fighting against you or with you, I always had fun. I hope you find success in life.

((You lied to me. You said that his death would involve him surrounded by riches and exotic women, not captains. ;3

The Lord Shas'O Kais hears of Augustus passing away, he takes a few moments to think about it, with his two tigers merely sitting next to him, he strokes one of the cubs he hasn't named yet then uses his free hand to take hold of the hilt of his Katana grasping it as he thinks about what he is going to say to his vassals and members of the Yamamoto Court, he then finds his words and begins to speak to those in his noble court in Yamamoto Keep

"My friends, it seems the famed Augustus Blackmont has passed from this mortal world, some of you may remember him by his other name Prince, this man caused the death of thousands, the suffering of many more, he was a man larger then life, a skilled commander in small offensive raids but not on the large scale none the less still admirable in that aspect."

"He was not a friend of mine, I personally found him a dishonourable man who lived for nothing but personal gain perhaps I am right but I am not to know what his actual goals were. He will likely be rotting in the darkest afterlife the Creator can offer to him. None the less he has achieved some aspect of greatness in his life in which we can only hope to achieve ourselves. Shed no tears for this man for his methods of fame would be looked down upon by our ancestors."

"His name shall not be mentioned in my presence by any man loyal to me, for I crossed swords with many of his soldiers in the past century, I am not angry at the fact his men attacked me I am angry at the fact he was not present, I find it insulting he never fought me himself I wished for the man to die for what he was, what he was being one of the finest warriors this land has ever seen, despite his age I would wager he'd beat nine out of ten of some of the best Knights in the realm and I would have been honoured to kill him or die by his hand. No matter his goals he was a fine warrior of renown skill, however with him not dying a warriors death it leaves him not worthy of being mentioned in my presence any more. I say this last thing about the man, Sayonara my dear Prince."

He then looks to his tiger cubs again and thinks of two names for them, Augustus for one and Prince the other to honour the warriors spirit of Augustus and bring honour to his name once more to die a warriors death when their time comes

Damon finds his way to a small tavern inside Salvus, ordering as many drinks as he can handle. One may find him lying face down, unconscious on the table where he was drinking, vomit covering the table.

[[Damn, I really wish I could have been around near the end. I have been with you since Asulon in one way or another and there is no RP I would rather have carried out. Yours was by far the best on this server and you weren't afraid of what others thought of it, regardless if they hated for it and that's what I really admired about you.

I was always amazed at the type of RP you could craft and how you could manipulate the other players on this server so well. It's something I envied and attempted to do myself, but I could never do so well as you. You were the master of Villain RP and nobody will ever be able to take that from you.

You were also a great friend in TS and one of the few people that I've met on this server I wouldn't be embarrassed to  hang out with in real life. Whatever you do in life from now on, I hope you find yourself successful and live a good life.]]
