The Last Dragon

 

The impromptu Royal Court was but a shadow of the former palace, and the sparse showing of the crowds reflected as such. Only a handful of guardsmen flanked the King of Renatus, Silus Iullius Horen, as he sat tiredly on his make-shift throne awaiting the few petitioners to lay their claim. As the court droned on, the Crown-Prince of Ruska, Ostromir Carrion, and his elder half-brother Tuv approached the throne.

 

The words caught in Tuv’s throat as his little brother began to address the king, looking upon the man who had placed so much trust in this bastard to help him rule. Tuv knew it to be true that this King, no matter how feeble and complacent, had devoted his full friendship towards the bastard, this King turned Tuv into the Bastard of ‘Bresi.

 

Otto now called upon Tuv to speak, the bastard faltering for a moment in his step. But he knew it must be done, not for glory or power, but for the good of Oren. This humble dragon was all that stood in the final unification of Renatus and Ruska, and Tuv knew the time must be sooner than later.

 

Tuv approached the throne besides his brother, and they stated their case.

 

An hour later, the last Dragon, heir to House Horen, was exiled from Renatus onto a far isle.

 

The next morning, this edict is distributed through Oren

First Edict of Carrion Renatus

 

I. Governance

 

I. With the Exile of the Silus Horen for inability to defend the Holy Renatians, The Crown of Renatus shall pass to the closest possible heir. Ostromir Sarkozic Carrion.

 

II. With the Exile of Silus Horen, all titles are hereby passed to the Crown-Prince. Ostromir Sarkozic Carrion

 

III. With the Exile of Silus Horen, the King Ostromir Sarkozic Carrion all titles re-granted are revoked. The titles are as followed

 

IV. The County of  Auvergne, held by Alexander Valois

 

V. All knightly titles are abolished, and revoked.

 

II. Holdings

 

I. Tuv, Maer of Abresi has ordered that the lands shall be rebuilt, and redone into a greater Human Capital.

 

II. The Archdiocese of Renatus shall be held by an Archbishop, and the Archbishop shall hold a Feudal Secular title.

 

III. Titles and Secularity

 

I. The titles as following are hereby abolished

i.The Duchy of Corazon

ii.The Duchy of Furnestock

iii.The County of Riven

iv. The County of Yamamoto

v. The County of Killburne

vi. The County of Auvergne

vii. The March of Le Bastille

 

II. Viscounties are hereby abolished, and shall be outlawed unless the King sees fit.

 

III. Ruskan Officials shall be installed as Local Office Holders.
