Because it's simply in bad taste? I think that's a pretty big reason.

In his last post he explained the origins of it, I would rather give people the benefit of the doubt then immediately think the worst. To deny him and label him a troll and a bad person for something like this without much interaction towards him yourself doesn't make you much better then you assume he is now does it? I agree that if people find it disrespectful they could politely ask him to change it, but to deny him and call him a bad person over something so small?..... For shame

 

 

 

 

Keep in mind however I haven't RP'ed much with him and have had limited interactions with him so from my stand point its not so bad. Perhaps more insight to his character and how he interacts with others would change my view

He's definitely not trolling. The name is stupid but not that offensive. I don't see the big deal with Adolf, it used to be a commonplace German name. It's not reserved for war criminals.

Yeah... having a character named Odolf who commits mass genocide... not seeing its correlation to Adolf Hitler is a bit dull of someone. People might take offense, as Hitler did some pretty bad shiz.

 

Just find a more tasteful name, and you're good as gold. Or silver if you prefer that stuff.

people need to be less whiny about a simple name. Personally, I have seen many RP posts by your character, and there isn't anything wrong. I don't think it is trolly at all, if anything the people replying are the trolls who just hate, hate, hate. I have no problem with your char, and I think people are being too sensitive about this. I wish you luck with your character.
