  1. I mean we already pay via VIP ranks, right?
  2. It's genuinely a rather both sweet and rather uneasy that I find this right after going through some IRL shenanigans in relation to my case of this mindrot of a disorder the very previous day. All I can say, is that I wish the very best future imaginable for you, me and everyone else that with this life-long . . . Companion, ehehe :}
  3. It really does feel like the best way to FINALLY be done with this whole thing is to just... Fix how CRP functions in a way that isn't just quickly googling the effectiveness of medieval weaponry and as well as medical reports of burn victims to figure out who wins and who dies..? It's a dysfunctional mess, why would you expect irp combat to be based on expectations of the average player knowing the ins and outs of what being stabbed with a dagger in the liver feels like? The freeform and creative nature of CRP is not mutually exclusive with having simplified and comprehensive mechanichs of health and damage being dealt. And also, CRP really does go super quickly if you strip away the inherent need for well written, descriptive and narratively fitting emotes and went for a mechanical and boiled down "Character X uses their shield to block the incoming strike and swings warhammer at Character B's kneecap" or smth like that when it comes to massive battles of this scale.
  4. YIPEEE!! THE FEEBLE NECROMANCER'S BONE-SOME BARBERSHOP FANTASIES SHALL SOON BECOME A REALITY!!

  6. I think that is a nice balance all things considered! The requirement for the "target" to actually need to be a perceived threat to the Sprite does ensure that Sprites cannot be treated as basically... Mercenary/Hitmen contractors (as funny as it would be). And IRPly speaking, it would be a perfectly reasonable method for a Sprite to defend its little, wittle self from any damnable bullies!
  7. Have a most wonderful month every one!! ❤️
  8. I unironically want to offer my sincerest congratulations to @Pengin & @Fleur___ in regards to their ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL Sprite Rework's acceptance!!!!

Hurrah! What a lucky surprise. I just got my Sprite CA last night.

  9. Isn't this a bit ridiculously excessive for a mundane revival-timer? Especially when there's already a more "lasting" Soft-PK method for them, a whole week is very much a long time when it comes to RP and I worry this might result in Lycanthropes either going through painfully overly cautious means to avoid dying or dangerous situations altogether (which I can say from experience leads to absolutely no fun for neither the CA nor anyone that interact with it) OR this will simply result in people treating their Lycanthrope as a "secondary" persona since they'll probably need to do something during all that waiting period. Additionally, - and this is me talking based on past talks with ST so take it with a big ol' grain of salt - you'd probably want to limit any amount of sreqs in general, I can probably guess you made it this way so that its possible for someone to find the corpse after the fact and Soft-PK it, but having every dead Wolf-Thing require a whole Sreq is... Probably not going to be liked all that much by the reviewing LT. (Which- Honestly is a bit of scary thing since it means that ANY Lycanthrope that dies faces a Week-Long lasting threat of being potentially soft-PKed permanently). WITH THAT SAID! I really, reaaly freaking love this conceptually and it's one very much worth pursuing! That little bit of being instantly regenerated in full sounds absolutely fun and I can very much think of a whole plethora of "whimsical" RP scenarios. :} The simplest fix would just be to lower the non-soft-pk revival to a wayyy smaller timescale, this way it makes Soft-PKing the Lycanthropes not only something worth pursuing mechanically due to the ST metal requirements, but also thematically as it enforces the proposed idea that these are actually hyper-regenerative immortal beasts. Oh and it would also give any would-be hunters a faar smaller time-window to locate and "Neutralize" the regenerating corpse of the Canine-Afflicted-Individual Wish you the best of luck with the amendment!
  10. To this day I wonder what all of the incredible artists that I've commissioned for Skins - whether it be for spookems or mundane characters that I very much am fond of - actually do with all of these minas? Are they just doing it all for the fun of it? Is this some never-ending chase to make the numbers go up? I don't even know what to do with my own minas, I just use them for skinners... Do the skinners use the minas gained by commissions to commission other skinners in turn for skins of their own? I know not.
  11. Oh I freaking love this! <3 <3 Although... Just making sure but are these basically an extention upon the Druid's fae/sprites? Or are they an entirely unique thing?
  12. Yeaah that was kind my thoughts process as well, but if that still concerns you, I do think the whole requirement for your coven to have (access to) a Heith-Heidran Scar balances things out. Other than that, the creation of a disconnection ritual is unfortunately a bit out of the reach of my ability for the moment...! Although I would like to mention that you are not the first person to bring that up actually! So it might be properly proposed/added sooner or later. : >
  13. Nah, it can be any meat! It's just a flavour bit, in reality it's just a requirement of two necros.
  14. Necromancy Amendment: Rebirth and Unlife Part One: The Mechanics of Unlife OLD LORE: NEW LORE: Part Two: The Celebration of Undeath OLD LORE: NEW LORE: PURPOSE: I wholeheartedly believe that mechanically punishing characters no less one such as a necromancer - Which are under constant threat of being hunted down from all sides - for doing exactly the sort of things that they are expected to do (I.E. being a villainous little scamp), only acts to forbid holders of said magic from taking any sort of risks that aren’t absurdly conflict-barren or outright dull under the threat of being Soft-PKed Indefinitely for days, weeks if not entire months, should they not possess fellow (active) necromancers (with an irp/ooc reason) to resurrect their character. Additionally, placing the burden of revival entirely on other people that had nothing to do with the Necromancer’s death will inevitably just create issues unhealthy to RP in the event of say; a necromancer being slain multiple times - Even if said deaths were born out of actual quality and wonderful RP. With that all said, a shared sentiment between necromancer players I’ve asked was a desire to maintain the magic as “Coven-Based” with this method promoting such. Ignoring the undeniable fact that Necromancy by its very nature is the art of creating boney friends for your friendless loser of a character- I can understand the sentiment, which is why I’ve placed a Heith-Heidran Scar; a site typically belonging only to well established covens as the requirement and “respawn” point for this whole thing to work as opposed to them naturally reforming out in the wild. Think of it as a reward or form of necromancers reaching “critical mass” :3 Thank you for reading! CREDITS Writing by me (Agy)! Music by Studio Thumpy Puppy Art by: KleinerHai CHANGELOG Nothing yet…!
  15. I know this is a joke, but this has been something that's been on my mind for a long time; The Naz and the Azdrazi - Arguably two of the most successful MA/CAs that don't have entire nations irply "protecting" them - both entirely lack any manner of overly punishing revival, feeding or straight up just Soft/Hard PK mechanics. We never see an argument for them to get such manner mechanics and it has infact not stopped them in the slightest from being able to produce some utterly wonderful if not some of the best RP I've had the fortune of taking part in. Apparently having your own lore not go out of its way punish its own players for using it, actually helps.
  16. Whilst I have very little to no experience on the matter of Necros, It should be stated that the vast majority of people that do get the MA do so for presumably a lot of reasons that are in no way related to the "PK-Clause" or any other issues the MA may harbour. And if the answer to such issues is to simply never be dumb enough to get into any lore pieces that are plagued with all sorts of issues to begin with... Then nobody will infact want to play that lore piece. Necromancy is a clearly aged and issue-riddled piece from what I've seen with my own eyes. Even during the Magic's "Peak" with the deadmen, with who I would regularly interact, I only ever saw or heard of 2 other actually active Necromancers other than Gashadokuro as opposed to the dozens of Ghouls, Naz, Demons and even Corrupted Azdrazi that I saw with my very own eyes... Of which necromancers, all were liches or infact became liches during said period. Suffice to say, I think a lot of people are following this kind of "advice".
  17. [!] Hekate... Awoke within the bloodied and thrashed fields as an ever treacherous fatigue clung upon her pained flesh, a newfound emptiness deep within her very being becoming more pronounced and noticed with each second. Her right hand was... Burnt, the hand with which that most dreadful fiend forced her to give up a part of herself in what could only be described as a petty robbery by the otherworldly and unspeakable. There was no sign of the Victor, nor the ever-courageous golden-haired woman that run after him in the possibly vain and near suicidal hope to save him from the pair of abominations. This was her fault... And she could do nothing about it.
  18. Yeah, now that you mention it... 10 turns of being able to CRP while in water is ABSURDLY long, like pretty sure that goes into hours worth of irl time. the absolute majority of fights do not even come close to surpassing 10 total turns from what I've seen.
  19. The ever-expected "What's your favourite character that you've had the opportunity to RP with?" and "Most memorable and fun RP?" questions. But also, do you have any manner of advice when it comes to just having the most fun you can have in this server? : >
  20. Oh! Okay very much my bad in that case..! I suppose I was imagining a wildly different and more exaggerated scenario, liike somewhere around a year ago being told that in the past things like Ghosts had actual status effects like proper mineman water-breathing Whiiich caused them to jump into the bottom of a lake to in the event of PvP or something like that, very funny stuff. Suffice to say, thanks for the response! : >
  21. What like mechanically running into the water...? Because.. Yeah that'd just be reaally silly
  22. If I remember correctly, I was told that it was actually a weakness that was added because Ghouls would keep using the sea, lakes and whatever as an ever-reliable escape route in CRP scenarios aand that apparently was a whole thing. Personally I don't really see the point, not like there's much of a difference between being able to kill a ghoul (IF you manage that to begin with mind you) and it escaping by sinking to the bottom of the sea (Also it's just really badass and fun, like come on!)
