  1. "Youre just mad youre losing" says Wilhelmina.
  2. Wilhelmina awoke to the sounds of a cheerful crowd. She rubbed her eyes and stumbled out of bed to see that traitor's head lay in the mud. A quiet "Oh" was followed by an "Ave Adria!"
  3. "You state you were going to join the fight on Adria's enemies side, yet at the same time you mourn the fate of those that are considered enemies to the Adrians? I believe that, perhaps, the Archduchess might be simple minded..." Wilhelmina trailed off as she put down the paper. "I suppose someone who was once a puppet to Balianites can never not be a puppet after all."
  4. "So basically all of humanity is afraid of one rebelling state? Where is the backbone?" asked Wilhelmina van Aert.
  5. Wilhelmina slowly turned to her friend. ".. Put that stick down, you'll hurt yourself and I will not waste medical supplies on foolishness!" @Valkirey
  6. Wilhelmina puts on warpaint. Shes got her shoe laces tied, her blade polished and her suit of armor on - it was time.
  7. Wilhelmina steals one of the cigarettes, the sheer boredom driving her to take up smoking.
  8. Laurentina wonders if the priest has been smoking too much cactus green to come up with this arichsdorf slander.
  9. Wilhelmina, who was also thirteen, sat up from the pub stool she was sitting on and stopped polishing the blood stains off her sword. It was nice to have something to do after the fighting subsided and everyone began rejoicing and licking their (few) wounds. She didn't want to sit upstairs with her brothers and cousins since they were being too loud for her taste. Lifting the public letter that the other youngster had written, she let her gaze stray over the paper's lines. She finished reading and grimaced momentarily. She experienced a wide range of emotions at once. The van Aert opened and closed her mouth once more, unable to find the right words. Perhaps, there were none. Indeed, they were young, and it was frightening. Yet even the child understood that you must fight for your home if you wished to keep it. Hence, they would always do so. Upstairs, she heard a chant that she mutely repeated to herself in a low voice: "Ave Adria."
  10. Wilhelmina cleaned her blade after the fight was done, silently pondering on the win as the heat of the battle died down.
  11. Wilhelmina van Aert gave off a slight nod of approval upon reading the missive her cousin had made. She made her way over to the juice reserves in their tavern and poured herself some labelled as "apple" before raising the cup in honor of Leonid's words.
  12. Wilhelmina's mouth stood open with joy upon noticing that her friend Lorina was a ward as well!
  13. Wilhelmina nods to Valentin. "This is such a well written and good missive, I WONDER who helped you!"
  14. Wilhelmina gave an approving nod to her older brother, Valentin. "We did good work."
  15. Wilhelmina frowned deeply as such an inspiring woman had died. She took the Duchess into her prayers that night, and in the one after that as well.
  16. "I LOVE VAN AERT AND VILAC!!!!" shouts lil Wilhelmina van Aert
  17. "nooo the church is not political! noooo!" says rhosyn
  18. Now Rhosyn leaned back in her seat, waiting to see how this would play out. A small smile played on her features as she saw Renilde doing the first sensible thing in... a while.
  19. Aloisia forms her mouth into an 'o' shape, put on her travelling cloak and sharpened her blade before making the trip to Sedan.
  20. Luisa cringes hard upon hearing the news. She threaded a hand through her salt and pepper hair, thoughtfully contemplating the situation. In the end, the aging lady shrugged and uttered the following words to her brother in law. "Some blessings come disguised as problems. And some problems sort themselves out. I imagine he'll last for a few Saint Weeks before tiring himself out and sailing away again." @Greehn
  21. "Maybe I'll get my own home at last," said Dame Rhosyn hopefully.
  22. A fire-haired Lady gazed down on the valley in which Arichsdorf had been built with a pensive expression. Turning on her heels to make her way back home -whereever that may be- her thoughts lingered on her sister, Lyds.
  23. When word reached the Baroness, no language in the world could describe the feeling of her heart sinking and sorrow filling her whole body. She stood there, near the aviary of Acre with tears in her glistering brown eyes. Aloisia has always hated to cry in public - but who could blame her to do just that after her friend, confidante and father has passed away? Their connection was not by blood, that much is true, but he has been there for her as a parent ever since she was eighteen. He had been there when she was low, when she was high, when Gustaf and her married and when he disappeared. He had been there when her son was killed and when the crops would not grow. He should at least have lived to see the sun shine down on those golden fields. Oh what Luisa would give to see Hannes smile like that just one more time! As the tears continued to roll down her face, Luisa began to prepare herself for the following days, weeks, months and even years. All she could do now to honor Hannes' memory would be to raise her son Volker as Hannes has raised Gustaf. "No kings but us," she whispered in silence to herself as she prepared to announce the death to the townsfolk.
  24. "Wow Norland really just got their ass whooped without a war... Embarassing," commented Luisa as she took a sip from her bottle of ale.
  25. "Those orenian "princesses" as well as the rest of the royal family and the left-over orenian imperial family were stripped of their royal and noble titles when we won the rebellion," said Aloisia as she looked over the many pictures, trying to talk one of her sons into courting. Then, pointing to yet another lady, she commented "... What do you think of that one, Sepp? She looks kind!" @XOCO @Gambit
