  1. Cassian held in his excitement from the moment he'd been informed, all the way up until the announcement had been made. And then, in the tavern, he partied.
  2. Rhys thinks back to the last time he interacted with a Sarkozic. He can't say he would miss them.
  3. "Mmmm- mwaht?" Rhys was tempted to throw a pillow at the man for waking him up, but- "Oh. Oh, that's nice, hun."
  4. Cassian did not know his uncle, truly, but his heart felt heavy with the weight of his mother's grief. "It will be okay, mamej. . Ea will make it okay." @Cheese
  5. Brendell woke in a field in the Seven Skies, squinting up at the sky with mismatched hues. Why. . . he shivered, though the rolling breeze was warm. Time passed as he sat and thought. Where was he? Some time later, minutes or perhaps days, he stood and turned towards his wife's form as she appeared. A smile graced his lips as he saw her. "Hallo, Schatz."
  6. This is a large part of why I don't like playing female personas anymore. It can get so frustrating to deal with, especially after seeing a direct comparison like this.
  7. Rhys thinks this must be a joke. The bloke's getting married?!
  8. Rhys is starting to get baby fever. . . "JOHN! HURRY VYR ASS UP AND FIND A WIFE!" @TreeSmoothie
  9. Arman listened to his abuelo announce his padre's ascension to Viceroy with a strange expression. The little prince chewed on his cheek idly as he thought. This would make a fine song. . . if he could remember to write it. Later that night, the prince wrapped both his parents in the biggest hug he could manage.
  10. Rhys reads over the newest publishing with a frown, saddened that Grimhildr didn't make it into the books.
  11. This whole issue bothered Rhys to no end. He had tracked bloody footprints into the keep when he couldn't go around the mess. How rude.
  12. Rhys sighs. Life goes on.
  13. Cassian won't be attending, as sleepovers don't mix with the required beauty sleep he needs.
  14. Rhys wonders if the library contains anything about rare magicks. Or, ooh, hydroponics!
  15. The Ruthern companion of the newly elevated Baron privately celebrated with champagne and hors d'oeuvres.
  16. Rhys smacks John over the head lightly with a rolled up newspaper.
  17. CLERK RECRUITMENT DRIVE Issued from the Office of the Procurator 14th of Horen’s Calling, 72 B.A With the ever growing population of our glorious city of Portoregne, the Procurator and Vice Procurator find it necessary to bring fresh blood to the office to ensure adequate and speedy response to the needs of the citizenry of Balian. 18. Rhys is already drowning in paperwork. Oh no!
  19. Brendell Colborn is taken aback by the specialty invitation he'd received. "Via, mein Schatz, look at this!" @tadabug2000 Arman awaits birth. . .
  20. "Goodness." Utters a Ruthern of Balian descent. "Look, borsa, an update to their squabble." @oryP
  21. Rhys merely shakes his head and exhales a long, drawn out sigh.
  22. Brendell did not speak to anyone, not his wife nor his children, for three days. When he did eventually emerge, he gathered up each of his children one by one, Kajsa, Nikoletta, Iduna, and Lauritz, and spent the day with them. No longer would he spend every waking hour at work, or toiling over stewardry paperwork up in the office. His own father had done so, and it had affected him far more than he'd ever admit. One night, too late to recall the hour, he'd mutter aloud to his wife. "Ea think eam going to retire."
